There are a lot of guides on how to get your DMZ insured weapons fast and many other things, but this video will teach you DMZ secrets all the pros use for their DMZ insured weapons.

A tip i use for my insured slot. If you buy operator skins with DMZ perks, use their glueprint gun, and customize it yourself. You'll get the faster cooldown, but with attatchments you actually use.

That's why I don't bother trying to get the weapon cool down bs, I have enough dmz weapons to not care about it.

I think its absolutely essential to bring a shotgun into Vondel with how common Konni and Shadow Company AIs are. With automatic weapons, I find myself burning through ammo often as well.

Went thru vondel solo with an iso45 short range specd but drum mag and contraband riot shield and outlasted a couple hunts. One guy came on me with armor boat by buoyant houses and I got him then boated away but his clunking body was making the boat go crazy and he plead so I resd him and jumped out knowing he was either calling out or running back to team and he did but they kill him fully instead as I dip out. Both left die to bots and the shield saves my ass running through market pulling them between us to exfil. Just pick up any base kv broadside/bryson the ai will absolutely drop in vondel they work well enough as a third to swap between
I've started to grab hunts in vondel myself, not because I care much about doing them but more as protection because it takes one of those damn contracts out of circulation , plus gives you a handy locator beacon for another team.
You can pick them up then cancel them to take them off the map, trying to get them all off the map is a new strat I use when solo@@josephstewart2821

I tend to just bring one weapon at a time, just in case, a battle rifle, marksman or sniper attached and tuned to be good at most ranges has always steered me well, something with a hybrid scope, even if your not using the red dot/irons on the side all the time they can be a lifesaver when needed. Then just pick up a random secondary off a corpse and whack a supressor on it (I run solo) and thats just about it.

The 2nd insured slot is so easy to unlock now that everyone should already have it by now unless they’ve only been playing for a couple weeks
I can't. I bring 1 insured slot. I die I lose ALL Insured slots
You don't have to lock your insured slots to a certain weapon or weapon type, you can just swap out whatever weapon you happen to have put there before to anything you want. I don't understand the question "which slot is the most important", like... I bring what I need for the upcoming raid and depending on how many slots I have off cooldown atm. xD

I always run an Assault, Sniper with a JOKR. The JOKR has came in clutch time and time again. its slowed teams down when pushing me. Helped me get away and If you can Target a vehicle before players get inside. it wont alert them of the missile. I've gotten 3 downs when targeting an LTV as its dropping in.

i havent used my insured weapons since season 3. its more fun and challenging that way. i completed almost all mission too
I was like that until I got my 15 cool down sniper, I was so pissed if I lost them that I stopped taking them in 😁 I absolutely hate watching somebody take my favourite gun 😡😡

The sniper rifle is definitely top priority for insured slots. I can just grab a 74U and build it for fast ADS and still use it up to 50m. And I just keep my wallet money full for whenever all my insured slots are gone, I can just load up vondel and extract.

In Asia server , I'll bring JOKR (Javelin) to DMZ , because China player loved to make six man platoon and fly heli , so shoot their vehicle with JOKR is a good way to survive.

Depends on circumstances. I play on vondel alot. So my most important is a longer range AR with a thermal. AM, I agree it is the sniper. I run my second gun that has the 15 min cool down alot too. So I tend to always have an available slot.

For me it's the ar. I don't snipe as much as my teammates. If I only have one insured available I'll bring an AR and pick up a sub. Stock subs are quite good. Plus you can add attachments now.
It's crazy seeing all the light blue Scion TC cars all off the map that was a car I owned !

My favorite vehicle was the older looking jeeps... But they are only on the small maps like vondel or the island... The motorcycles replaced the jeeps on almazra... (I love my LMGs)
Sniper all day. Can't even make my mind up on AR/SMG, it's so situational. I always try to pick up MP5 and MP7 and build so there in my stash. If I'm not sniping then Tac or Hemlock (as with my sniper 15 minute cool down guns)
Really like lachman 556 and Razerback but tend to stay with cool down weapons and my stash.

I always have an insured sniper, I switch the others around depending on what I’m doing. Could be an LMG and SMG, AR and shotgun, etc
Personally i like running an all around AR, a LMG, and decent marksman rifle. Sometimes I'll swap the LMG for pistols or marksman for a sniper. But mark or snipe i like to run a toggled range scope for med and long shots.
I have ran A LOT with that exact mcpr (with that 15min cooldown cause its a bundle gun

I know I'm late, but haven't ran a sniper since season 4. AR and smg is usually all I run.
High Velocity rounds in ARS affects the ttk at close range more than anything else I think.. at close range I feel like it's not about singel round damage it's more about damage per second. except in certain circumstances like at really close range with a shotgun.
HV rounds imo would be for better accuracy at ranges 50m plus.
Used my custom fjx imperium build and ur m13b, insane combo for 2 insured slots but its risky tbh cuz u gotta wait crazy time

Great breakdown man. How do you get the 55 contraband weapons stash? Is that 55 contraband weapons? Mine only has 20 contraband weapon slots.
I usually set mine as 1.) AR, 2.) sniper, 3.) SMG. If I only had one in the past I used AR, but I think going forward it going to switch to 1.) sniper, 2.) AR, 3.) SMG.

I’d use a shield especially on vondel just for the annoying bots shooting me in the back it really comes in clutch. Everything else will come. That and I can always buy attachment to my liking.

How do you have the hazardous in an insured slot? Isn’t that the one from the chemist? Cause it only lets me have it as a contraband.
The chop top does suck with being exposed but I think the Jeep sucks the most. It has horrible traction and is slow AF. At least the chop top is kinda fast
For me my most important has always seemed to be an smg used to bring in hurricane. Now go to has been bas-p then my mcpr build I never bring in all 3 weapons
I keep my AR in my first slot. And I have 15 min cool downs for my 2nd and 3rd slot. My sniper is also on a 15 cool down.
I think the most important gun is a smg u can run circles around guys like a demon on DMZ being quick like that trumps any other gun type.

1 thing I've noticed playing this version of cod is my home I have a PS4 and PS4 controller when I play on a PS5 I am levels more accurate sniping because on PS4 u have to adjust to lag and on a better gaming system it reduces lag and I'm way more accurate just playing how I play even with a single fire pistol I hit my shots on PS4 if I have a 60 round m4 I use about 50 bullets to kill a 3 plated player shots take longer to registure and on sniper they go right thru ppl I'm shooting like I'm shooting a shadow.
One that doesn't cause the DMZ mode to not work anymore, haven't been able to play for 2 weeks, I put an insured weapon on with one of the animated weapon camos n now it won't let me in DMZ... tried everything including deleting n re-downloaded n rebuilt my PS5 still won't work

I just bring one insured gun, create it to be contraband, and exfil.. got full contraband stash with my insured guns

assault rifle as primary, then either a shotgun or an SMG as a secondary and then of course a sniper
I care absolutely nothing about specific cooldown weapons when I have 3 slots open now with the cooldowns already active. I like switching my loadouts constantly and adapting
Sniper for sure no contest everyone builds their sniper differently so you won’t be as consistent without yours and your not likely to find one built your style as ground loot or player loot the ar and smgs and shotguns are a dime a dozen and I feel the tunings effect snipers more than the other weapons could be wrong about that just my opinion I’d recommend anyone that has bought bundles that come with snipers with the 15 min cooldown adjust them to your liking and run that to get consistent

Sniper set up is so personal as you say that you can always find an AR you can get on with but very rarely a sniper. Even so if I am downed. my sniper is my the most stolen weapon. Vondel as per comment below, I would rather a shotgun than a sniper but look for a sniper in game.

How do I unlock the 2nd and 3rd slots. I bought mw2 because it said I needed to get them in the upgrades screen. Only gave option to buy mw2 and still says see upgrade screen to unlock but now it offers mw3? Like what the heck.

Depends on the mission you’re doing to have one mission purposed and one close quarter and one long range
In the forces you don’t just use one weapon to suit it all …you adapt the weaponry and use what’s going to get the job done
I use spotter scope to distance recce and use something like a silenced or suppressed weapon to work inward say the cross bow or sniper
Then something like a suppressed tempus torrent for medium distance and for close quarter smg or for room to room enclosed spaces a shotgun with grenades etc or use claymore or prox mines if you want to lead or coax enemy’s to come get you so you set up a killing ground and / or bottle neck
I don’t really use the slots like you do. I have my third insured as a sniper use the other two for m13s. I typically use ground loot for close combat
M13 is BIS in first slot, you can build that thing to shred players and bots, and to out range anything other than a well built sniper. Good fire rate, low recoil, accurate as all hell, somehow still light and good ads. Absolutely busted.

Sometimes I start my solo runs with, I shit you not: a pistol! For example the new 9mm Daemon wich is just great! It has to be fully built of course and supressed so its more fun. but there is just something cool about going in with a "bad" or not so good weapon and then just finding or robbing another, better weapon from either the ai or players. Then, if you need to, you just go to a shop and change/add the attachments you want and when you exfil with that kind of gun or guns... it feels....Noice. ^^
If im going in on a regain ill quite often take nothing but stuns, knives and a muni box. Gives you 3 stuns and 3 knives to take out a player or two. Can be a fun game that way

Played last night. Clan tags (FAFO) (DADS) (A6TU) are all premades. Annoying AF to get pushed by 6 mans just minutes after spawn and all 6 of them have the same clan tag.

@@ps5.dakobbz229 you'd think they would have allowed this as its not always an easy task to achieve for many players, a challenge that deserves it not to be stored for just DMZ then only to lose it should you don't exfil with it,
ordinary weapon in slot 1, 15 minutes cooldown blueprints in 2 and 3. every time.
If you edit and tune a 15 min cool down gun, then save it as a custom blueprint, will it lose its fast cool down?
No, it retains its 15 minute perk.
It does keep its 15 minute cool down. Also, once in the gunsmith, you go to the ‘receiver’ tab, and you can change the base skin camo whilst also still keeping the reduced cool-down.
This is good for when you change a lot of attachments from the blueprint but still have an annoying camo left on the main receiver of the gun or want to use your own camo without it just overlaying the blueprint camo. For example the shiny purple on the MCPR-300 blueprint. Then save it as your own custom blueprint.
@Rot_in_Pieces Dang, I was excited to be able to use the "Threat Neutralized" receiver with the cool down from the "Dawn's Light" skin, but once in game it reverts the receiver back to the Dawn's Light. Still cool being able to save tuned and customized skins.
@@zubie6 ah sorry man, I must have given you mis-information. I’ve only used the receiver skin function to take off the skin, it didn’t revert back in game when I did that.

Depends. You have more buttons and moving your view is quicker on pc because you can move your mouse free, so you aim faster and more precise.
Now controllers game have more settings to be faster to turn and you have a better feeling with a controllers i feel.

I am not watching the video, but I don't see anything about this, so: All the weapon slots have different cool down times, first is shortest, third is longest. Still your 15 min cool downs in the third, and any weapon that doesn't have that, in the first. (First slot is 1hr, second is 2-3, third is 3+ hrs)
