    Cool just received WTF for my XR from Nick and the folks at C&R a few days ago as well but winter has arrived here. Glad you like them.

      @@redboyjan Yeah we've had a really mild winter by Canadian standards so I've been out and riding a handful of times, got adjusted after around 15km and now loving them. Next upgrade might be slowly getting parts to VESC it in a year or two.

      @@froggerc625 that's great! More vesc options and evolution in vesc and parts will provide ever better options as we go along for when you are ready. In the meantime aftermarket parts are making huge differences to rides, tyres, rails, battery packs etc! Love it!

    Been loving my homebrew rails from TFL, have put a few hundred miles on them and they're great.
    I did do the digital tilt on mine, I didn't like the stock nose height. Was dipping too low for me. After leveling the board again, it rides like a dream.

      The digital tilt instantly makes it much better! Without it I felt like I was about to nosedive all the time, lol.

    Board is lookin sharp bro! Cool video. W's keep my feet still more, never thought i needed any digital tilt but I may try it. What's next in the endless shopping list hahaha

      Thank you! Seriously the only thing needed for the trip is the Board Bank! There are some 40/60 km stretches with no charging stops available and without it I'd just be left stranded. I tried to find a normal powerbank like the Anker/Jackery but they're not sold here.

      @@p0rtugeek dem big batteries are useful but if the terrain is rough or hilly and you carrying a kit bag it ain't gunna do it. I have a very old CnR setup which is stop and charge but also plug in while riding, to add range and keep the board voltage high too for longer runs. But stopping for a supercharge off the pack is good too, sit back a bit under a tree with a view! You want a 63v pack ideally but you can jump whatever you have as long as it'll provide enough umpf. You can unlock early XRs to charge while riding from the charge port, as well as earlier boards. More practical and lighter than these in a box solutions for camping etc or inverters #ffm

    I'm used to riding stock rails with zero angle. How does your feet feel when riding a WTF which introduces some tilt (front and rear)?

    • @p0rtugeek
      @p0rtugeek  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Hello @shuwukong I did not go into the technical details but basically the 3 degree angle on each pad means your ankles have less stress as they're less bent. Basically __/ VS __| (_ is supposed to be your foot and | your leg, this is achieved due the angle, see frame 05:56 ). These rails also lower the foodpads which means your point of contact is closer to the center of the axle which translate into feeling more stability. My foot fatigue has improved overall after installing these rails.
      Edits: typos, lol.

    sir. Portugeek, question for you I just bought a "WTF" rail i havent installed it yet, but the question recently I updated the firmware of my XR+ . if I install the WTF rail do I have to re-calibrate or re level it? also if ever do you think the new firmware will accept the WTF when i balanced it? hope to get your response. thanks.

      Hello! Please watch th FixMyPev tutorial on how to do NRF Tilt Leveling after installing your rails. I believe that the latest update did not block digital tilt. The Float Life also tested it. I recommend you install them ASAP as the ride feel is a lot better!

      @@barrymonteiro8893 Thank you! Remember to check if your board can do NRF-Tilt before purchasing! If you can't then you wont be able to go switch as the nose/tail will drop to the ground basically. Oh and sub for more content hehe.
