They are wonderful. I'd watch the hand over the mouth thing, but they are tremendous actors! The pain becomes way too old for me, but I am not like most. That pain makes the show popular. My beloved, late husband was so very much like Callum, even a cop. Callum says things that my Peter said. So, my pain happens with these scenes without the soap silliness. Ben is hopeless, and I wish, in my world, that Callum would dump him forever. Such great actors!

Ben comforting Callum following the failed wedding (I'm a sucker for fluff and this was really sweet, it's really too bad that Whitney walked in when she did) 9. Hospital scene/Ben asks Callum out (again, very sweet fluffy scene - Ben's nervousness there was such a contrast to his usual bravado and it really showed that he cared about Callum) 8. Break up/Callum's ILY (I could overanalyse this scene for hours, it's so well done but at the same time so heartwrenching) 7. Flat kiss (SPICYYYYY) 6. First kiss 5. Callum tracing ILY onto Ben's back 4. Ben's ILY/Callum signing ILY (also a very worthy no.1, too damn adorable) 3. The "I smell queer" scene (borderline iconic - love the one liners) 2. Ben's cheek kiss (you have no idea how happy I am that you put this one so high - thought I was the only one who adored that scene) 1. Callum coming out to his dad in the pub (so brilliant to see Callum finally come into his own and the kiss at the end is so satisfying) (Edited to add in honourable mentions - speaker scene, kitchen kiss, police roleplay) It's so hard to rank them tho, haha. There's too many amazing scenes. Major props to you for actually managing to do it 😂.

I agree with both your top two picks. The scene in the Vic (with Ben, Phil and Callum versus Callum's father) is one of my favourites, too. It's just such a triumphant moment, for both Callum (for finally standing up to his father, gaining that confidence and being supported by everyone around him), for Ben, and for their relationship in general. But I also absolutely love the cheek kiss, outside of Coker's, because it's such a powerful moment of emotional vulnerability. Ben's met Jonno, and has realised why he can't break down Callum's internal walls -- because Callum spent a lot of time reinforcing those walls, since it's the only way he could survive having such an abusive monster as a father. So Ben tries nothing but brute, raw honesty ... and it works. He gets through. Up to that point, Callum has been resistant to any sign of intimacy from Ben, but in that moment, Callum lets Ben get very close, he accepts the kiss on the cheek (a moment of pure compassion and affection), and he holds Ben's hand briefly before they part. It's the first time Callum reciprocates, emotionally ... and it's the exact moment when Callum starts to develop feelings for Ben. That's why I love the scene, it's just so wonderful.
