The best thing about this scene is the fact that this is the first time I’m hearing of it. No public outcry. No excessive media output making it a bigger story than it was. Just a dramatic scene, acted well as part of East End life. Not so long ago, I would have been clambering to watch this, to see part of myself represented. It would have been such a rare sight. Now; acceptance, or even better; indifference. Thank you BBC, thank you writers. Keep up the good work.
One of my favourite things about Ballum is the genuine off-screen friendship between Max and Tony. When you get on well with someone it shows and these two are just brilliant together. I can’t wait to see them again when Eastenders returns in a few weeks. ❤️

the fact Tony says "wear that" makes me laugh. there bond as friends and as on screen partners is amazing and I love watching them grow not just as a couple but as people on there own. everything they do is just so powerful they are amazing actors. everything there doing at that the moment is amazing. they portray such amazing characters and amazing stories. I really can't wait to see what's to come for their future a wedding maybe, adopting kids would be nice and get there own apartment for the two of them it would be a really lovely thing to see

It must be so awkward to see yourself on screen- like even if you did a brilliant job I feel like you'd still feel a bit weird about it- especially if you're doing something quite racy like when Ben was fake moaning at Callum when he had him up against the door.

@@kourtneyleigh2274 (and Simsum) You are conflating "me" with "we". It has probably been better to show these interviews rather than do what, for example, Emmerdale did on TV, and The Archers did on radio by concocting boring monologues (The Archers) or two handers (Emmerdale) which were obviously made as time killers. Perhaps you would rather have had such below-par episodes. Like you, I am only speaking for myself, I wouldn't presume to say what everyone else wanted, but Emmerdale was a total boring waste of time to me (then it usually is!)
