I'm healthy and independent, so have decided to try applying for a job that I can do from the room that is now my home for $800.00/mo, plus $132/mo for storage. I live in the 6th most expensive area of the country....DC suburbs, But it's close to the only family I have. my son and DIL with first grandchild due June 1, So I've decided to get a job, even part-time. There are quite a few available. Check the AARP site where such jobs are listed. Or just Google jobs for seniors. You might have to post your resume online. Best wishes.

I have 1,000 points already and I am here shopping at Carone's Market a Shure Save store now and I am going to use 10 of my points that will know 10.00 off my grocery order total at the register when I checkout. So let's just say my total is 80.00 even and I use 10 of my pionts that's 10.00 off of my grocery order total so it lowers my 80.00 down to only 70.00 but still I just saved 10.00 that's a BIG Difference and that's 10.00 more I have twards something else like my medications or gas in my car .

The things economists, who are supposed to know these things said stimulus checks would be a bad idea because no money goes back into the economy, and that it's a waste because no one spends any money. However, because everyone knows this is all we're getting, they are saving hardcore, so of course nothing is going back. It's supposed to be by March, because unemployment benefits run out in March, and it's part of the relief package along with the stimulus checks, so the first week in March we should have it. It's only a few weeks away.
You will NOT get 2,000.00 - nor will I nor anyone else. Biden, on the way to the first meeting with the Republicans, negotiated HIMSELF down to 1,400.00 per person, because in a previous bill, passed by the F.Y.I.T.A. Rebublicans while they still had complete control of the Senate. Biden said if the two senators from Georgia won, giving a (very slim) majority of the Senate to the Dems, he would, by God make SURE we all got 2,000.00! What he didn't mention was that in order to appease the Republicans (which have been obstructing, blocking, denying, and killing Democratically-proposed bills that would help the Citizens. McConnell even blocked a bill to strengthen election security!), Biden decided to make them like him by suggesting that instead of TWO SEPERATE BILLS - one for 600.00 per person (the Republican -passed bill), and a DIFFERENT Bill - proposed and passed by the democrats, and keeping Bidwen's promise of 2,000.00 - that Congress should only give us 1,000.00 of our taxes back in this third stimulus bill, and call it "combining the democratic bill and the Republican bill." So you - and the rest of us (since the Democrats - as usual -turned a way to turn undoubted victory (control of the Senate) into undoubted boot-polishing and "won't you just LIKE us, Republicans?" failure to use their new power as the Republicans have been using it for eight years now. As you can see, the Republicans are now friendly, love their Democrat colleagues, and are working in the spirit of bipartisan cooperation. A perfect example of this bi-partisanship, after Biden meekly and voluntarily gave up 600.00 for each of us, was how the republicans, seeing how Trumps crowd of thugs, mercenaries, and Insurrectionists nearly hung Mike Pence (the gallows were built), killed one Capitol police officer by bashing in his head with a fire extinguisher, and took a shit on the floor of the capitol House, and spread it across the wall (fine folks - "the very best people"), and hearing all of this, along with the constant whipping up of the crowd into a killing frenzy by Trump, in speeches to them on the Rotunda, and through his tweets, voted to Impeach him, along with the Democrats - oh, wait - no, they didn't... they acquitted him. Well, that's o.k. We don't really need an extra 600.00 right now - all we would do is spend it to stimulate the economy, and feed our kids, pay the rent, and so on. We can subsidize the Oilo companies and big Pharma and factory farms each year, let the wealthiest of us pay no taxes - and BRAG about it - but giving us any more money from what they gave away to the 1% elites, would make us "Socialists" (or is it "Communists, or Fascists, or bums who hate to work and would rather just sit around like Senators and collect checks? I forget).

I live in the poverty line. Seniors go to Denny’s Restaurant often and today prices were raised! My social security does not allow me to adjust to these raises! Why won’t you approve the $200 monthly raise? We seniors need that raise!

While you are waiting impatiently for Biden to do what he can only badger The House of Representatives and the Senate into doing, read the Constitution - it's not even very long. That part of the 5600 pages was not the stimulus package but the budget. The two were just lumped together and people incorrectly thought everything was the stimulus bill.
