THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS! Yes! Yes, This is exactly what I needed. I can dump my two coffee cans, and separate out these dates and go treasure hunting. Great job. Thank you. - Jason Lucky
I found a 2023 quarter with the side with Washington normal, but the back side is a woman with a big hairdo and no other markings at all. Not sure what to look into about it.
@thecoinchanneltube I think another good one that's easy to remember that you just showed is the 1989 D, 3.1g, although I'm assuming it applies to both Philadelphia and Denver mints. Also, I found a 1982 small date, 3.1g, but no Denver mint. Are those worth anything or does it need to be Denver mint?
Thank you. I'm also just getting my channel up called The Numismatic Addict. I have some really rare and older style coins I gotta make a video for as well as many error coins. And just got some crazy rare ones from an estate sale to show as well. Thanks for all your input your awesome
Man, you know what, not only do you provide excellently clear knowledge, you're just a really cool dude. Thanks for that, brah. So many people are without personality trying to do what you do. Keep it rolling.
@thecoinchanneltube you may be interested in ...sorry about the messages like this lol but the darn tagging you in the message thing keeps disappearing so I had to be quick with it & as you can see this 1 went away so I said forget it & am just gonna type away on this comment lol! Big fan hope all is well with you & yours, I have a couple coins possibly but the main 1 is the Indian head bison
Man THANK YOU so much for this video. It's really hard to find TRUSTWORTHY information on coin collection. I'm not completely new to the hobby but still new enough. So far I absolutely love this hobby!! It's basically a real life treasure hunt every single day. Ya never know what can be found in regular pocket change. I do have a question I would trust YOU TO ANSWER....... Is it ok or not to clean a dirty coin to make it look maybe a little bit better for grading or what?? I know that certain cleaners will screw up a coins value. Is ANY CLEANING of ANY KIND ok to do?? If so HOW?? THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH!!!
I bought a scale and a microscope it is crazy time consuming but maybe it will pay off if I fallow your advice. Pennies up to the star note hundred. Miss cut bills, postage stamps and foreign cions. Did half the nickels with many 64's, a gallon of dimes to still look at. Thank you for your informative knowledge.
I hate getting $50 or $100 star note. Means I can't spend it. 😂 I now have about 50+ $1.00 star notes, and a handful of the others. The $10.00 star note evades me. Still hunting for that sawbuck ! All the best. Peace.
Time consuming doesn't even begin to paint the reality of it, especially when you don't have the right equipment. I haven't found the right microscope, yet. Hope yours works for you. 😃
@@sybilsworld569 Hi. I went on Amazon and bought package deal for under $100, including a digital coin microscope (which can connect to your laptop for much larger images) and the microscope has ultra bright lights, and two soft cover books all about American (USC) and finding rare coins, what to look for. Just thought I'd add my two cents 😂 Hope it helps. Also, keep following the coin channel guy and take notes about what's worth big money. It's worth it. Don't give up. God Bless.
I don’t know how long ago you posted this or if you’re ever gonna read/reply to this but THANK YOU for igniting this in me. I’d never thought of doing this and looking through my little can of change. I’ve been blessed and I’ve been able to find some of the coins you’ve mentioned. I even went to the bank yesterday and the bank gave me 3 unopened rolls of 1962, and 1964 nickels.
Your videos started showing up on my feed. I have about 3 coffee cans (the large ones) FULL of pennies. Time to put on my spectacles and start looking them over! New sub!! Thank you for this awesome info. ❤
Thank you for this information! I have been collecting coins for four decades. I recently gave one of my sons quite a few coins from my collection. He collects them whereas my other two children don't. I haven't gone through my spare change collection in years but I will soon! Thank you for all you do! Blessings of love and light to all!
Bro thanks still I look at my pocket change and still can't remember all that you say, I'm hope for that one that pokes me in the eye. Thanks for the videos

I got a 1935 quarter with a number 7 imprinted behind the eagles head on the obverse. You ever heard of anything like this. It's looks professionally imprinted with older style 7
Forgive this novice question but what weight scale do you use to weigh the Pennie’s to determine the grams and what magnifying viewer do you recommend as well to view the coins in detail…?
Love your channel but going through a 3gal bucket of pennies is like a full-time job. I do have a question about cleaning the very dirty. Another pail of pennies that are nasty to the touch. Is it ok to use dawn liquid and soak them?
I have a 2000 penny that is missy the i and b in liberty. I don't see any scratch marks as if it was scratched off by hand, looks as if it was an error. Have you heard of anything like thaT?
A collector I new pass away he gave me so much change really old coins dollars bills I need somebody to help fixer this out could thousands and thousands of money here

HOLY COW, MY FRIEND. HANG ONTO THAT. ❤
You should send that in to get certified.
Forgot to mention the 1989 D and the 1990 penny that was found in copper as well.
On the PCGS site, looks like the 82D small letter zinc are the ones worth more money
Forgive this novice question but what weight scale do you use to weigh the Pennie’s to determine the grams and what magnifying viewer do you recommend as well to view the coins in detail…?
I have the 1982-D at 3.1g with the small letters.

Hey my buddy has a 1982D small date 3.1 just wondering where would be the best place to have it checked
I've got several error coins 71,72,74, bicentennial but I've got a 1972 half dollar thi never got the ridges
Good morning how can I seen you pictures of coins if I have a question.
What can you tell me about the 1949 error penny ?????
I've found some half dollars that are stamped off center. Varying years. What can you tell me?
I have several wheat pennies no mint mark
Why didn't you mention 1999 mule error or 1955 double die? Would those be on your list?
Found a 1975 penny with a 1A inclosed in a weird shape over the year. Can't find any info about it.
In the '83 copper transitional error, are 2.5g and 3.1g the only two known weights for that time?
Sometimes they may be a point or two off. ie: 2.6 or 3.0. but there generally is just the two weights.
Let me rephrase that....
*Sometimes they READ a point or two off (depending on perhaps the scale?).
