Not very many people know about Iron Eagle AND Macross Zero...got a special group of people in here 👍 Iron Eagle was the movie that got me into fighter jets, then Top Gun helped seal my love for them...although the F-16 is still my favorite fighter jet. I remember seeing Iron Eagle 2 as a kid, the opening scene with this song playing got me all excited and hyped...and then Doug gets blown away?! Huh?! How was the hero of the 1st film who blew away any entire army, die...not even 10 mins into the sequel? Although years later I discovered that they brought Doug back in Iron Eagle 4 (not Jason Gedrick by the way) Never did watch Macross Zero, just clips here n there on CZcams. Sad that it never got an official release. SDF Macross (Robotech) is one of my all time favorite animes and the Valkyrie (Veritech) also one of my all time favorite mech designs.
Robotech and Macross are separate properties, and yet the IP of one seems to overrule the other in some really weird ways. Basically, it's a mess. Granted, my info is very out of date, so things might have changed and I may not be up-to-date on this.
@@katanafourzeronine they are 1 in the same show, just renamed . Like Space Battleship Yamato is called Star Blazers here in the usa. The only difference is that the US didn't have a nuclear attack scene on the island like in the original show
I think that's Macross Zero (don't burn me if I am wrong :P) It's a sort of prequel showing the first generation of Macross fighters during the last world war (of that universe)
cost to much and you have to have a scrip that is not a triple star movie but a 5 star movie that nails everything right let alone the right actor for the movie. plus you have to have the music right for the time and audience not to days music. and studio won't shell out that kind of money unless they know it going to be a hit that people will go back and see a second time. for robotech Macross you not only have the fight in space but you have a hole city in the ship that too k the ship two years to get back to earth from Pluto. then finishings the rest of the series in one 2-3hour movie plus relationship is not going to cut it. if you want a robotech movie your better of doing new gereration it would fit in to the movie format better for a 2 hour movie. you can skip the filler episodes and meet the Scotts crew as they go to reflex point. using (point k )as a mid point in the movie. and gett to the enemy base towards the end of the movie, where the enemy leaves and the heroes are left a live.
How many souls have God and Lucifer laid to rest- final rest. In the entire Universe which had 7.3 trillon souls- 900 million souls have been laid to final rest- so far.
