- Iranians mourn at the shrine of Imam Reza to pay their homage to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. Raisi was confirmed dead in a helicopter crash in Iran's Azerbaijan province. Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollihian, was also killed in the crash. The bodies were burned beyond recognition when investigators found them.
