Thanks, I just replaced my dashboard, and I tried to assemble back. I was bad because I couldn't find any wire match on the black space of my radio😅 and it is hot on texas 2 pm
Finally seeing the video you did of my car! In the portion where you use positap for reverse wire, Is this considered the part that powers the unit? What would be the way to disable power from the unit to see if it is draining power while the car is off?
The Posi-tap is not for the power, it is for reverse. However it is required to connect. The system will get the power from the stereo. If you need to disconnect the unit from the power, you can disconnect it from the MCFHA3 video cable.
In general any car stereo shop in your area can do the installation. We recommend to schedule the install during the weekday, this way the shop can call us if they will have any questions. Please also ask the shop to secure the VLine VL2 system in the glove box, for easier accessibility of the unit, security and maintenance. How do you remove those lower side panels that are next to drivers right leg and passenger left leg under the glove compartment?

Looking to do this upgrade for my moms car. Does the reverse cam still function on the top screen?
Yes the factory reverse camera will keep working once the VLine is installed.
Do you know of any shops that can install this in the Los Angeles area? I can’t do this myself.
