i recently read somewhere, that kd lang has the most pitch perfect voice of any singer of our time. that was a beautiful example of that quote. i've loved her long before ingenue, and i think her voice and the control she has (over even the slightest nuances) has only gotten better and better. and what kills me, is that it seems so effortless for her. and what a gorgeous song, by jane siberry. i cannot even imagine anyone else singing it, hope you're coming to the san francisco area soon. peace-
Technically it was Judy Collins. I saw an oscilloscope diagram of her voice once. It was almost a perfect ellipse. No longer (probably) but it was impressive. kd is a different breed of porpoise altogether and she soars so high. She's perfect to me is all I can say.
