I used to have a problem with dust too, but I ended up putting an air purifier in the same room as my collection. It helped get a ton of dust particles out of the air and saved me from having to dust every week.

Good review. I got my Malko 4K/Blu-ray slipcover protectors in mail last week. Finally getting around to taking them out of cheap bags and into Malko protectors. My collection is looking good.

I use the malko ones and I like them. Granted I haven't tried anything else. One thing about them is that the tabs can be really hard to open. I like the stiffness of it though, so I go with it.

I also like the tab feature, I would leave the Malko on the steelbook I wont open any time soon.

im deciding on steelbook protectors. i think i might like the generic ones better without those tabs to fool around with. i want to be able to open or close the protector quickly.

I just received a pack of these after seeing so many good reviews. I’m not sure I’m a fan of these-they’re frustrating to put together because they’re so rigid and all the little tabs and flaps just keep getting in the way when I put the steelbook in it. I feel like they could damage the steelbook itself. I tried to put one of the thinner J-cards inside with it put it kept hanging up on the bottom flap. I’m tempted to cut off the top and bottom flaps and just have it as more of a sleeve.

I'm not crazy about that small tab in the middle there. If you go to eBay, retroprotectors or keep them minty has them and they're pre peeled and about $8 cheaper than Amazon for the 25 count.

Would a steelbook case protect dvd and blu ray or wouldn't I have to buy those separately? Also do they have a customer phone number that I could call. Thank you.

I don't know if you can call them.

The Malko protectors seem a little fiddly for my liking with the middle tabs. I like that the Steelbook central ones you just slide the Steelbook in and out without any fuss.

Yes, specially if you are a person who does watch them. It would be a preference on that, that is why I pointed that out in specific, thank you for watching mate

Have you tried Retroprotection yet? I'm about to buy cases to protect my 4K collection (non steelbook) and can't decide between Malko and Retro. Besides the slight sizing difference, the only other main difference I see is the centered tab. Thanks so much for these videos!

does anybody sell slightly bigger protectors for DVD steelbooks that have a plastic slip cover (Metroid Prime Trilogy)? I can force it in a normal one but will not be coming out.

Steff Dia all these hard plastic types do, I tried them because of recommendation and they 100% scratch up the steelbook, I used steelbook central ones and they are classed as one of the best, never again!
