How to Paint Blurry BACKGROUND in WATERCOLOR

- A soft blurry background can really work in a watercolor painting. Select your colors carefully, and don't have too many of them, and consider whether the main subject needs something darker or lighter to set if off. This is quite a bold background for me, but the bird is quite pale, so it worked really well.

Is the blue masking fluid latex?

helloo this is really helpful and all but do you think this can be applied with blurry foreground? im just starting out with watercolor from digital paintings ☺️
