" എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുകയും അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും സഹോദരന്മാരെയും സഹോദരികളെയും സ്വൊന്തം ജീവനെയും കൂടെപകക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് എന്റെ ശിഷ്യനായിരിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുകയില്ല ". ശുദ്ധീകരണപ്രക്രിയയിൽ നമല്ലതെ മറ്റൊന്നും ബാക്കിയില്ലാത്തവിധം ദൈവാത്മാവ് നമ്മിലുള്ളതെല്ലാം ഉരിഞ്ഞെടുക്കും - അതാണ് മരണ സ്ഥലം. അപ്പനും അമ്മയും സഹോദരനും യാതൊരു സ്വാർത്ഥ താല്പര്യങ്ങളും ഇല്ലാതെ മരണത്തിനു നാം തയാറാകാനനമുക്കു മനസ്സാണോ ? ഇതാണ് ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന് ആവശ്യം. ഇവിടെയാണു പോരാട്ടം ഇവിടെ നാം ഇടറുന്നു. " സമാധാനമല്ല വളത്രെ വരുത്തുവാൻ ഞാൻ വന്നത് എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞത് ഇതാണ്. ഇവിടെ യേശുവിന്റെ മരണവുമായി ഒന്നാകാൻ നാം വിസമ്മതിക്കുന്നു. ഇതു വളരെ കർക്കശമാണ്, നാമത് ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ നമുക്ക് കഴിയുന്നില്ല. എന്നാൽ യേശു കർക്കശക്കാരനാണ്. നാം അതു ചെയ്യണമെന്നുതന്നെ അവൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. നാം വെറും നാമായി കുറയ്കപെടാൻ, എല്ലാം ഉരിഞ്ഞെറിഞ്ഞു നഗ്‌നമായ നമ്മെ ദൈവകരങ്ങളിലേർപിക്കാൻ നമുക്ക് മനസ്സാണോ? അങ്ങനെ നാം തയാറായാലുടൻ ദൈവം നമ്മെ പൂർണമായി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയും, ദൈവത്തോടൊഴികെ മറ്റെല്ലാറ്റിനോടുമുള്ള നമ്മുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ നിന്നും നാം സ്വാതന്ത്രനാകുകയും ചെയ്യും. ( 1തെസ്സലോനിക്യർ 5: 23, 24 ). ശുദ്ധീകരണം എന്നാൽ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവുമായി ഒന്നാക്കപ്പെടുക എന്നാണ്. യേശു എന്നിൽ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നഒരു കാര്യമല്ല ശുദ്ധീകരണം, അവൻ തന്നെ നമ്മിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നതത്രേ . ( 1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 1:30 ). ജീവിതവശം : അങ്ങനെ നാം യേശു നമുക്കായി ശുദ്ധീകരണമായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നു വിശ്വാസത്താൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയാലുടൻ യേശുവിന്റെ പരിപൂർണ ഗുണങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്നു. ഇതാണ് വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ രഹസ്യം. യേശുവിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധി നമ്മുടേതായി തീരുകയും നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ വെളിപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. എന്നുവെച്ചാൽ " ക്രിസ്തു നിങ്ങളിൽ എന്നത്രെ " കൊളോസിയർ ( 1: 27 ). തൽഫലമായി ദൈവശക്തിയാൽ കാത്തു സുഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന പരിശുദ്ധിയും, സുബോധവും ഉള്ള ഒരു ജീവിതം സാവധാനം നമ്മിൽ ഉറപ്പായി, നാം ജീവിച്ചു തുടങ്ങുന്നു.
