  • Your amigo, Mr. E, has reappeared! Today we find the ol' bugger in western Spain, a part of the country that sees very few tourists-just how E likes it. Only a few kilometers from the border with Portugal, Mr. E's temporary home on a rural Spanish campo is an idyllic setting, where the only sounds are chirping birds and the bells of cattle grazing in fields nearby. So come along then and see how Mr. E spends his time in this beautiful place.
    *******
Hey, Mr. E: who ya got in the World Cup? Ah yes, the WC. I’m not the world’s biggest soccer/futbol fan, but to me the World Cup is by far the world’s best international sporting event, and as a self-described International Man of Mr. E, I pay close attention. This year the World Cup is being held in Qatar (love the airline more than the country…I had a bad experience in Doha one time), and since it’s unbearably hot there much of the year, the World Cup is taking place in November/December instead of its traditional summer dates. (The U.S., Canada, and Mexico are hosting the next World Cup in 2026 as a multi-national effort.)
Brazil is the betting favorite to win the whole thing this year, and as I love Brazil and its people I’d be thrilled to see them win. The next four favorites are France, Argentina, England, and Spain. I normally go for Portugal in the World Cup, and even though I’m currently only a few kilometers from Portugal, I’ll be in Spain for the entirety of this year's contest. And I love E-spaña. So who to choose?
“Sounds like a tough decision, Mr. E.”
It is, it is. But Spain won the tiebreaker.
    “What tiebreaker?”
You see, the World Cup teams are divided into groups A through H.
    "Ok...?"
And you see, Spain is in GROUP E.
