Remy and Ryan Callaghan ... I'll watch anything that those guys are involved with ... Great content!
I don’t care what the professional media experts say, this video could have been 4 times longer and I still would have walked away wanting more. Thanks Remi and Solohunter.
Remi is just a great example of getting out whenever you can. No matter what time of year, weather, or situation, only you can stop you. Great vid!
Its always enjoyable watching Remi hunt. He's a great hunter.
Your the best hunter I watch on all the platforms. Thank you so much for all your effort & sacrifices providing this content 👏.
Great hunt Remi. Always good to see that even the best hunters get can get skunked on occasion. Looks like a great cow. Congratulations.
Nate
Love watching you on your hunts Rem!👊🏾
good video, thanks for makin a good production with a hind harvest- respect
That is the first time I have seen tracks on a UTV, badass!
Cool hunt. Glad to see an antlerless hunt in the mix.
What a great video! Thank you.
Good stuff as always bud!!
Crazy to see all of them just come out of the trees when you shot. Nice hunt man!
Awesome hunt.
Loved this! Also love Remi walking around with $20k in tags for one area haha
$20k?
My favorite late elk hunts 😎
Good stuff as always bud!!
perfect---smaller better packing--lol I have done the same many times. Cannot eat antlers.
👍👍 That's meat in the refrigerator! Good job!
Goid eating, that is what counts first. Honestly i think this was feared for the average guy i think remy could have crushed it on day 1 but what he filmed was closer to what the average american guy would have had to go thru to get an elk. Remy is the most down to earth and stellar elk hunters. Great job
Yes Remi!
A cornucopia of tags awesome 👊🏻
What are tags worth for you guys? In Australia, deer are classified as non native so no bag limits or seasons for rifle or bow
Awesome!
Awesome! 😀
Nice work and she will be great tasting.
I have taken a calf that small before. Very good eatin!!😉👍
Is "Hurd" is your last name; and if so, are you related to Hurd family from northwestern Montana (Troy and Libby area)?
First two elk taken by my late father and me when we began bow hunting on Washington's Olympic Peninsula in the 1970's were bull calves. I couldn't argue about tenderness of the flesh, but I found it bland for taste. As I recall, my folk's did too.
So far*, my favorite game meat has been yearling moose--that was a gift when I was a starving student, which might have affected my appetite and taste buds--and a bighorn ram that I took on a solo backpack hunt in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness in the 1980's.
*Always read glowing reports of Eland as table fare; but it is finally time to accept the fact that I will never hunt Africa. I also have no desire to shoot a "game ranch" Eland or other game animal of any species in Texas or any other state that offers such "hunting."
Great video. How far was that shot?
You ever have plans to come up to Alberta for elk? You know anyone up this way?
My experience is chasing whitetails in NE woods. I watch these guys talk into the camera, waving their hands, pointing at this or that, and making all kinds of quick movements that would send a whitetail running over the ridge.
For all that work? I think a case of Spam might be easier on the body. Spam with HORNS just might be a good invention???
What bow sling are you using?
What's your rifle/ optic set up??
The last day is the best day 😀👊🏼☝️❤️🇺🇸🇵🇭
Bear Valley, Idaho
So this brings up a question if shooting a smaller one/calf how do you make sure it's not a male?
Tag is (Antlerless) doesn't matter sex...
How could someone get up with you if they wanted to hire you as a guide
Remi, I’d like to invite you to my ranch in southern Colorado for an elk, deer, or bear hunt.
Remi said to tell you he's sorry but can't make it due to prior commitments, though I could go in his place😁.
So you do hunt females as well. Cool :) always very relaxing to watch your hunts. Keep up the great work!
He's is a meat hunter first and foremost.
Remi for president.
Another great video, alway`s awaiting your latest video`s. I`m wondering what kind of or do you carry any Bear protection outside of, in this case , your rifle. Montana has increased numbers of Grizz. to my knowledge. I`m sure you have something with you when hunting with your clients. Oh yeah, congrats on getting (Ringed in), finally a hunting partner you`ll take back home with you!
I'm jealous! Lol
I'll take snow, rain, heat, thick brush, and steep inclines over deadfall any day. Man I hate that stuff.
Definitely good eating 😋 cut it with a fork no doubt 👌 😊❤
'Picked the smallest one in the group'. Boy you dont hear that very often....
Anyone know what rifle/caliber he is using?
Looks like a Sako Finnlight 2, unknown calibrate.
Love what you do Remi. So I’ll point out that it’s “relegated” rather than “regulated”. I’m also the guy that will tell you you’ve got spinach in your teeth or a booger on your nose. Just looking out.
who your camera guy?
I s it weird that I use the Remi Warren setup in Hunter Call of the Wild videogame
He has a setup? I only use his "skin".
You definitely shot the smallest out of the bunch..
Being anal retentive, the 1st thing i noticed was when he used the bill of his cap to shield his binos from light as well as to steady them. Then next, with relief, was when he put the bugle around his neck and made sure to not drap the cord around his neck, but to place it under his hood. Whew...(would have chafed me till the end). Next, using the walking sticks as a rifle rest and as importantly, the pack as an elbow rest. All little things that add up to indicators of a fine hunter. I'll stop now, before saying if he was shooting a .280 Remington, i'd be in hog heaven ...
😂 a calf really?
Remi dont lie you missed that first shot 😜
You can see the path of the bullet and the point of impact of the 1st shot. A little back just like he said.
@@thajman I would call it gut shot and lucky it didn't run off...
Awesome hunt.
