@@farmervillager1376 i don't think they would be, i know what corporations are, it's just what i thought upon first hearing that line
They prefer to care for macOS (even though it was not purposely created for gaming in mind and it sucks for that support). After Windows, Linux is the better for gaming support, even through unofficial methods.
Interestingly, they use Ubuntu for the server-side of Roblox.

Roblox (during the last decade): there's not enough playerbase on Linux... Roblox in 2023: We have to annihilate those cursed Linux cheaters at all costs, they are major threat to our beautiful platform
Trying to play games with devs actively banning my OS. I want to play a game that works on low end PCs such as mine with my friends and this happens literally 16 days before I get Linux.
Unfortunately, the only "pc" I have is my steam deck. So now I'm completely unable to play roblox as of May 4th.

As someone whose only computer runs Zorin OS (Based off Ubuntu), this isn't reasonable. Make your anti-cheat work on all OSes, not just the ones that you prefer.

It's 4th of May, I just tried launching roblox and was met with "wine is not supported" error, it's joever fellas

I've played it on Linux before. But they didn't even give me a another chance to play again poor Linux R.I.P

right now it is probably best to just dual boot windows just so that you can play everything else that you typically would not be able to or run a vm (just a bit laggier)
blocking linux users when windows exploiters will bypass it anyway lol
rn they can just download the windows store version and it's a pathetically easy bypass

probably only if roblox makes a native client for Linux, and knowing them that means never, or at least not in the near future. for the next few years i am sure it will continue like this, after that we'll see, maybe later someone finds a bypass or something
