Keith at koi water barn and Chris at perfect aquatics have both spent time with me bowling up and choosing fish! It’s defiantly not just a sales thing for these guys but a enjoyment! And I totally get what they both said saying you sometimes just see that one fish that keeps catching your eye! Funny thing that is !!!
Those type of comments will mean a lot to Keith I’m sure of that
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I haven't been to the new place but I did go to the old place several times when I was passing and the quality of the fish across the board was outstanding. His smaller fish were good quality and value for money.
Well worth a visit Tony, fascinating place for any koi geek
@@KoiTalkMagazine 👍👍
Has to be Applaud! What's not to like? Can't argue with The Quality of The Stock.
It’s a real spectacle if you’ve not been
Got to say it is a very impressive place in person, amazing set up. Loving the mags and the vids!
It really is a great place! Thanks for your kind words about the magazine too, means a lot to the team.
Great Video showing Koi water Barn. If you have questions they are very helpful. I would recommend the auctions days as they are a great day out with some real bargains on offer.
Yes I know they do lots of different sale events to keep hobbyists engaged
Great video Chris, best one yet! More please 😀
On it! Thanks for your kind words Tony.
Enjoyed that, very impressive place. Cheers Chris👍
Glad you enjoyed it Richard.
R.I.P Keith
🥲
NICE VID
I'm still yet to visit koi water barn but it's on my list of places to visit this year ☺️
It’s a must visit for hobbyists
Really superb facility. Quality of the koi is impeccable. Very useful & informative channel for koi lovers & hobbyists. I live in the south of India where the weather is usually warm. I have a 25000 litre koi pond in my garden roughly 30 feet long, 7 foot wide & 3 foot deep. There are about 58 one foot size japanese koi in the pond. Have started feeding saki hikari from last week. Would be glad if someone could help me out with the quantity of feed per day math. How many grams of feed should I be feeding my koi per day in order to achieve a good growth progress in the next 6 months?
Thanks for watching!
Did you say the visit was in February?
Late Feb/early March from memory lol
Hi guys great information and some stunning koi my only criticism is koi keepers starrt of with a puddle in there gardan im 20yrs into the hobby and i cant afford the prestige koi thousands of pounds later what id like to see is affordable koi what can do good in the shows or how to pick a koi that will do from a tosie that would look great in years to come
We will be back to explore all levels that they cater for. This was more of a showcase video to begin with but I agree with your comments. We are a company for the people so don’t want to alienate anyone 🙏
I have been keeping koi for 23 years now and am surprised that the demographic of koi hobbiests does seem to be heavily male dominated.
Unfortunately it does seem to be that way when we look at our analytics.
Been to that place to be honest looks better on video in reality it’s not that impressive, and the fish they had were meh and overpriced, you are better off going to queeny koi much better stocked and better priced
Thanks for commenting.
