You can tell from her smile, every passes she made, she executed this routine with calm, ease, artistry, grace … she performed it with joy. Congrats Melanie 🎉

it may help you to remember that gymnastics is a sport and ballet is not. although there is some ballet inspiration in some aspects of gymnastics, that's all it is - inspiration.

Her back handspring technique is still weird, and she has a very piked first pass which bothers me
@@bagelized Have some cleaning up to do for sure but outside of a FEW floor workers, she is right up there with the best of them even at this stage.
