Weekly Sketch Episode 4 | Lysa Roberts Charcoal Drawing

For this week's sketch I wanted to attempt to create in a fast, loose style. I notice that in most of my artwork I tend to be too "tight" which ultimately leads to frustration...which usually leads to my artwork meeting the garbage can. I love when other artists create something that looks like a PAINTING or DRAWING and not simply a replica of the original reference. In this drawing I used charcoal pencil, vine charcoal, and charcoal sticks.
