5:36 damn he destroyed those two guys hahaha
6:03 Mom knew how hard he struggled to get there and all the ppl that doubted him. She doing that church praise dance and crying happy tears. So proud
Yeah I'm a Gonzaga fan but now I look back and see the last time we got knocked out of the tournament in the first round it was because Stephen Curry dropped 40 on us and I'm glad it happened. 😌
That crossover was mm...❄️😭😂
Straight frigid!
it's crazy how he went from a reggie miller type of playing style, shooting mostly off screens and passes, to the most lethal off the dribble 3 point shooter
Ever!!
he still plays heavy off the ball too which makes him even deadlier when everything is combined
Steph's been doing it for years - carrying medicore teams on his back - from 2006 (NCAA) to 2013 playing with no repay, no mvp, just a passion for the game...
And now 4 time champion and one of the greatests.
He was pretty much 50% of their offense. damn
Probably more than that
More than that. Consider his assists, too.
I think he was 90%, no cap. Lols.
Bruh he split the fuck outa the double team at the end.
That crossover on 2 guys is nasstyyyy
I think everybody forgot that Curry is also a great leader too.. lol
Man. Curry and Thompson are the masters of off the ball movement. Steph doing it since college. Never stops running.
I remember watching this game. Big zags fan. Dude was impossible to stop. Who would have thought he would be better in the pros?
Zags for life, but damn I don't even think Few was upset. He was unstoppable that day.
@@victorunger I'm a huge zagz fan too. This was the moment I was like, who the fk is this guy. I've been a fan ever since. I was bummed when Davidson didn't make the tourney the next year.
@@dennihsaur I was too, how can you not be? We were all left waiting for the slutty pumpkin once again.
zags fans are such big gay boys
I’ve been to some ncaa tournament games and I swear there is nothing like it when someone is going off like this. The whole crowd goes crazy
The beginning career of the greatest shooter, player and father of all time! go curry! go warriors!
Curry The Goat Of Mankind Last Nba Legend L.
2:36 he never changed this habit til now😂😂😂
Seth Greenberg should lose all credibility to coach ever again for not recruiting Steph to play where his dad played and where Steph wanted to play at VT... On top of that, he didn't go for Seth Curry either... You've gotta take chances with players, if you can shoot and handle the ball you can be great, I don't care how short you are. He was better than anyone on VTs roster. He probably made the right decision though to play at Davidson, their coach was more capable of developing him.
Totally agree. I feel like people don’t understand how good of a coach Bob McKillop is.
And Seth Greenberg is incompetent. His teams always collapsed during conference play because he scheduled super light in the non conference.
Greatest shooter I've ever seen. Just a magical basketball player.
I never really realized he wasnt an off the dribble shooter back at Davidson. I should have known, considering he played the 2 rather than the 1 in college. But that’s something he seemingly added to his game in the NBA.
And the man JUST got contact lenses. 😂😂
Goat Man I’m just watching these reruns bc there is no march madness but you’re deadass telling me HE COULD BARELY SEE?!??!?
This was the game I saw this guy. I heard about him earlier in the season that year, but only got to see him on game, and he did not disappoint.
I love watching “before they were famous.”
The NBA wasn't prepared what this man can do to the league.
Minnesota: *saw this performance*
Also minnesota: picks johnny and ricky 😳
5:00 “He just willed that in the basket. Terrible form.” 😂
Curry was a bad man in his college days too. He wasn't a big man but he couldn't be stop. Lights out curry!
Look at how far out they're extending the zone on curry...in college
just amazing, he always had it.
crazy how Steph still shoots the same way till now!!!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it lol.
No his shot is more of a one motion now
this kid didnt happen over night. hes been doing his thing since he was a kid. he changed the game all because of countless amount of hours
How he been doing it since he was a kid if he’s still a kid? According to you.
Monstro desde sempre!!!
A star is born
That Gonzaga team was actually really good too
a star is born
3:38 he was such a bucket from 3 that as soon as he gets the ball, the defender jumped and Curry didn't even pump fake
And that was Austin Daye, a lottery pick
How did he go 7 in the draft my god
The guy wearing hammer pants for sleeves in this game is Austin Daye. This was his last game of college basketball. He was the first 2 and done at Gonzaga (their first one and done was Jalen Suggs), and had been given the word from the Detroit Pistons that they would take him with the 15th pick if he was still available. The Pistons honored that. Good for them, there have to be a lot of promises broken on draft nights.
Why would you guarantee a 15 pick to Austin over the guy that dropped 40 in this game? Well, Austin's dad had been a 57th overall pick in the draft and had played in the NBA 5 seasons.
Wait, the guy who dropped 40's dad had been... a 15 pick in the draft and retired as the Charlotte Hornets' all-time leader in points (9,839) and three-point field goals made (929) (per Wikipedia so probably bullshit). Anyway, this game was a big part of size and wingspan not being overvalued compared to quick and consistent shooting from beyond the 3 line (which has since been moved back to the FIBA line in NCAA but still not as far as the NBA line).
I’m seeing some disrespect in this comment section…would Davidson have won a tournament game without Curry? No. But they’re a good team. Still would have won the conference if Curry was at, say, Virginia Tech.
Haha Seth Curry is so young at 6:06
R J damn I thought Seth was the older brother
Stephen curry is a beast
who knew he would be a 3 time NBA champion and a two time MVP damn 🔥🔥 never give up
Mark Few did lmao
and Minnesota still took 2 non shooting point guards before him
"always squaring up those feet"
He turns every single time. Is it really that hard to see?
I say it because I watch his shot. He faces the basket when he's coming from the left, and then turns in the air.
But when he's straight or coming from the right he always has his feet a little turned.
About the chanel. I guess you mean Pro Shot? It's the one I've seen people mention more frequently
That's what he did back in davidson he would square up but when he got too the NBA he changed that up thats why its the way it is now
Look at Steph man so inspirational
I was just thinking damn I was 14 watching this.. then I was thinking damn, this was 13 years ago.. Which would mean at the time i was watching this 14 was 100% of my life, and now its been almost the same difference in time as I was alive then to watch.. lol
Proud Momma at 6:32.
Watching February 2019
My inspiration SC30
2008:"Curry for three . .. it's in!
2019: Curry for three... Bang...
Me: Legend
What a delight. But his teammates hit some big shots and got some tough offensive boards to really free him up.
Beast
I was one of the people who thought he was too small and wouldn’t pan out. I’m glad I was wrong. He’s the best damn shooter I’ve ever seen and one of the most influential players of all time. He changed the way the game is played. He even changed the way I play pick up, being small myself.
boy is 6'3"
That crossover when they tried failing at the end god damn
Look at Curry man
I'll never forget wanting them to win every game so it would never end
I remember like it was yesterday
Stephen curry the greatest shooter of all time
Please, can you upload the full highlights of the Davidson vs Georgetown game in the 2nd round of this same tournament? It is impossible to find anywhere online.
czcams.com/video/D7vhha_uP-k/video.html
Too small, just had a good college run, he'll never make it in the pros.
He also can't shoot, hopefully he gets a decent jumper.
His court vision is suspect and so is his eye vision. Needs to get that checked before he can do something at the next level
@@jamesisbossok sarcasm.... It's a thing we do on earth.
James B and joke has been killed
dude really told us to look up stephen curry acting like he know shit it's so funny lollll
when you put sliders up
Four days before my birthday
wow this curry guy looks great he could probably be an NBA starter
He should go to the league!
Not picking him numbr 1 is disrespectful
Blake Griffin was can't miss. But not to be #2 or #3 is crazy.
Blake Griffin and James Harden are no busters. But he should have been at least three.
I’d agree. The main thing people don’t realize is how his ball handling and shooting off the dribble has improved since the league. If he’d shown more of that in college he’d have gone much higher, but you don’t see him doing behind the back step back threes just yet lol. People honestly thought he’d just be a small stretch shooter...
hell no i hadn't know him till 2015 playoffs begin
@@maxiqums1549 lmao why only on 2015??? Not my fault dude
Nice ball movement
It was Steph Curry against Gonzaga. It's funny Steven Gray shot like eight threes at game to . From Gonzaga....
5:36 NASTY!
Curry Flurry
Seth curry is so young here
I see where Steph gets his (GAME) from. 🍎 doesn't fall far from the 🌲.
Eyy
He Is absolute cheesing multiple grills
First
Stephen ruined so many brackets this year
Little did we know..
@4:23 That NCAA logo at midcourt is comically large.
#babygoat
Man how'd six teams pass on this dude 🤪
Stephen curry beat his dad in everything
Does anyone know if he has a very high arc on his shot?
We all do he always gets it over tall defenders like KD (before he came too gsw) ,Lebron,AD,Capela and etc but mostly over ad because ad cant guard steph after that 2015 playoffs
@@yoitsSmitty2004 It was a joke because the announcer said it like 253,000 times.
I can’t get over how hot Steph’s mom is. 😍 I guess he’s pretty cool too 😂
Did he break ncaa season most three point shots?
Pretty sure he did
Monzoe Kriz jj redick pretty much holds every ncaa college scoring record....
Golden Cp3 actually no.
Or Pete Maravich, Doug McDermott & Lew Alcindor
Do none of you people have google?
Too small even a with a good shot like that he won’t make it to the league
Stood and delivered.
4:13 WTF. Who is that guy?
right! this dude is crazy! not giving the opponent a chance to play D is not fair! lol
when I was born in 2010 I was not
watching this.
Kenz Vecina you should not be on CZcams
Kvng.LJ LMAOO true.
Anyone who thinks Michael Jordan was ever nearly as good as this guy is delusional look at Jordan's college highlights nowhere near and the one year they won the title James Worthy was the tournament MVP and Jordan didn't even make all conference😂😂😂 your grandchildren will look at you and think you are a liar if you try to compare Jordan's college highlights to Curry's and tell them that Jordan was better than Curry 😂
And now this guy taunts everyone after he makes a three, and he flops if he misses it. Welcome to NBA stardom.
