I love that Reptar's in this game; he's like the King K. Rool/Bowser of "Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl", and with him being the most fight-able "Rugrats" character, I've been looking forward to his demonstration. Those are some sweet moves of his; my favorites are his two fire-themed attacks. They look like they can really pack a wallop. Also, I love that we finally got to see his stage; Showdown At Teeter Totter Gulch is an inspired choice and it looks well-designed. If I get the game, I'll certainly give him a whirl. :) Thanks for the demo, Mr. Villalobos.
So clearly, Spongebob is the Mario of the series; going to have a shitload of reps. Avatar is the Pokemon of the series; lots of reps, varied moves and abilities. Rugrats strikes me as the Metroid of this series; We have no idea how to make half the characters into fighters so here's one that we know you'll want.

@@christianjones7012 they cant do that. If voices were never an option modders cant simply do it. Devs already told us. In later dlc updates with enough support theyll be able to add voices or give us the option too, like having the voice lines for us to put in
@@christianjones7012 Unless the devs let a place to add audio for characters in some kind of place holder fashion then yeah otherwise either the devs need to make the game extremely modding friendly or someone has to reverse engineer the game to actually program the voice files into the characters. You are honestly better off waiting for the devs to do it and tell them on their socials that you want it. They said that if the game does well, voices will likely be added down the line.
I’ve been seeing a lot of folks declare themselves Day One Reptar Mains, so it’s nice to finally see him in action! The victory animation is certainly on point. I think this game has nailed that for every character so far.
To the Rugrats, Reptar is a hero to them, mostly depending on who is wearing the costume cause there were only 2 where the person wearing the Reptar costume were trouble, and in 1 instance, Tommy accidentally activated a Reptar toy to stop the Thorg toy in a parody of Godzilla vs King Kong sending Thorg through a time machine to the year 1776. But the closest the Rugrats got to meet the real Reptar was in Runaway Reptar where they free him from a giant snowglobe before asking him to stop his robotic counterpart who kidnapped Dil, to which Reptar manages to defeat Robot Reptar in a Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla clash
Tbh Reptar has some of the best animations in this game. Some of the animations here are a little under animated but Reptar has a nice squash and stretch and good posing.
Would've been cool if the stage was like in one the houses in Rugrats but everyone was toy sized. I guess basically the exact same idea as the Nintendogs stage in Smash, but with cartoon babies.
Because Reptar is about the same size as the other fighters, just pretend you’re battling a guy in a rubber suit. Personally I think Angelica should be a playable character. She definitely could get whatever she wants with her bratty attitude.
I officially declare Reptar has the best Victory animation. Forget everything I said about Mikey and Lincoln, Reptar takes the crown. Let’s just see if Powdered Toast Man and Zim can take the crown when their showcases come out
I can see him getting nerfed real quick. A lot of his moves do so much damage to the point that you only have to hit someone about three times and they are already over 50% damage. (That range and damage on that down special especially is ridiculous.)

I'm going to say it, i prefer this more calmer announcer than the more obnoxious loud one. I can actually appreciate when i can focus on the character and not cringing at how "OmGz LoL" every move name is emphasised.
Still going to purchase this game and play it, and yeah I'm excited. But man they really weren't kidding when they said a lot of the light attacks were similar across the board in that mechanics video. Mainly the uptilt, though maybe there's been a few videos I haven't seen yet that showcase it having unique properties. Slap city is amazing btw everyone should play it.
I know I said this yesterday, my biggest concern for Reptar is his slow movement, but overall he’s no doubt gonna be fun to play as, shoot, saw the likes on Twitter, he’s a real fan favorite

Probably because a lot of his moves have long start up and endlag, a common trope fit heavy weight fighters

Like many of the beloved 90s animated shows, it was a biting pop culture satire cleverly disguised as a "kids show". Well worth checking out.
