Don't use the word "dye" say color. She's "coloring her hair" - it sounds so much better and sounds like she's getting it done professionally. I had my hair school instructor hammer than into me, dye is like if you're paying 8 bucks to use a box at home. It's so uncouth.
Hairdressers could either boost their business here or get roasted to the core 😂
It looked great and she said it was EXACTLY what she wanted. So how can anyone complain about it?
Because its youtube and ppl love to argue on here lol
It’s cute - especially in the sun. Ngl, I thought it was gonna be a “brighter” pink. This is kinda “dusty” but they did say rose gold. The stylist did a great job with the canvas she had (super damaged hair!) She looks SO HAPPY & I’m happy she stopped listening to stylists that just projected their feelings onto her! I hope she takes care of her new color. WERK!
Ikr the hair stylist is incredible
Yeah its nice but I expected it to be more pink but its cute
I think the stylist/colorist DID A GOOD JOB.
I saw a comment that said the back looks spotty or patchy -
I re-watched this video 3 times and I do not see any patchy spots.
I'm a Licensed stylist and I think the colorist in the video did a really good job.
People will complain about anything tbh. Especially on social media.
Am i the only one who thinks that every one in the comments is exaggerating , i feel that the hair color is pretty, and what is important is that she is happy with the result, no need for all this negativety
Yes u r alone
Everyone thinks they’re hairstylists by watching the video lmao
I don’t know what this comment section is talking about. The shadow root is… reacting to the shadows of the shaded place they did the full reveal. It’s meant to look multi dimensional, so it should react to light and shadow more intensely. It looks great, especially considering the left over permanent dye from the original bleach (the blend between her dark roots and her bleached hair at the beginning). Y’all have clearly never extensively played with hair bleaching and dye. Stylist did a great job! Good call on not double processing for the sake of the integrity of her hair long term- she also lifted very well!
As a licensed cosmetologist and seeing some of these comments about her hair being patchy and splotchy, don’t listen to them her looks great and the stylist did a fantastic job.
Wow these comments.... exactly why I left the hair industry because it's become so toxic, tearing other hairdressers down instead of supporting each other. Such a shame. Her hair looks great for what she had to work with. It's not perfect but you never know what went on behind the scenes while processing, and these videos usually have a bit of time pressure behind them. If the client is happy, that's all that matters ❤️
Everyone watches hair videos and think they’re professionals now lmao what losers to put others down like that
Lauren looks absolutely stunning! She's the coolest, inside and out!
I think it could be pinker but taking in account of time and her hair condition. The stylist did a great job
It's always crazy to me seeing how they came in vs how they left. What a talented colorist! It looks so good with her skin tone. I feel like the pastels are basically gone after the 1st wash, I'm curious how it will hold up
Beautiful, lovely result. That was a challenging job to lift and tone her so evenly.
it’s beautiful.
if the client likes it and that’s what they want… no one can’t deny it.
in the beginning of the video the girl said she was tired of not wanting to do what truly fits her needs because some stylist would put pressure on her to do something else.
I personally like the fact that she let the root dark like this it brings a nice touch of dimension.
And the color is really cute !
she looks literally stunning 🤩
I think this is so unique and beautiful!
Oh wow! It looks so pretty! Like a berry to a rosé color! And it fits her.
Are the roots at the back uneven? I can't tell, the quick dark to pink transition is throwing me off - maybe that's the point of this style though. Looks good overall 👍
Definitely uneven and patchy
I wouldn't pay for that, my girl wouldn't let me walk out looking like that.
@@sadieireland8282 trusttttt meeeeee
@@browneyedd_gyal4220 Right?
It looks like they tried to do a shadow root which is an uneven root however, it was only done on the back and not carried all around the head.
omg the blend from the root is so good
She looks SO good!
absolutely pretty!
Looks great..long bleach regrowth is one of the most difficult things to do. You always have to just go with it and see how the hair lifts before being able to have a set plan in place I find.
She looks great and obviously loves it. Well done!!!
I LOVE THIS TRANSFORMATION! This was everything 💖
Her hair looks amazing!!!
She’s so cute and happy. Her smile made me smile back 😌
Damn these comments are so harsh. If u don't like it or u don't think it's "technically up to par" than move on ,no need to rip the stylist apart. Cameras and lighting sometimes don't show off the colour in its true form I know myself I try take a picture or video at times and there's warmth and what looks like banding but it's not there in real life.
Being a stylist and especially one with thousands of people potentially judging your work is nerve wracking so if you got nothing nice to say don't say anything at all! The client loves it thats what matters
well the thing is this isnt the first time this channel has done literally questionable content lmao the colors always dont match the title or what the client wants or it's far from what it actually is supposed to be or the techniques used are bad lol
@@atsuki18 how long have you been hairstyling yourself? Why do you still watch them then if you think that🤔🤔 if I didn't like the channel I wouldn't waste my time but that's just me
@@sarahwithah well if i see bullsh*t i would rather call them out instead of being a bystander and not do anything but that's just me
I mean… It wasn’t what she necessarily asked for… I still do like it… And hopefully she will enjoy it for the one or two washes that she actually gets with it!
all of that aside, the client is stunningly beautiful and can rock any hairstyle!!!
💗💗 I’ve learned to love my hair and express myself society can be ugly when you have a unnatural hair color your look beautiful embrace the Bold
It's cute but they should of bleached the roots too then put a shadow root so it could have blended better
Stunning 🤩 beautiful so pretty love it the color looks amazing! The hair artist did an amazing job!!
Wow I'm loving it
This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! 😍✨
one of the best transitions!
Looks amazing!!
Love the hair 😍💕
I seriously loved it..♥️♥️
You look amazing...☺☺
Love it!!

+lisamessikommer Thanks for hanging with us!

Well i think it looks BEAUTIFUL
Nice! Would have liked to see a darker pink 💗
I reallly want to try sew ins!
She looks so cool
omg i LOVE this!!!!!
she looks amazing and really happy! good for her.
I love pink hair 🌹
Pretty color. Pink is a pretty color.
she's so happy 🤗💛 i kind of want to dye my hair since i stopped doing it since 2018 but i am still waiting for my hair to grow longer.
So adorable 😻😻😻
So pretty! I want to do similar colour!
I love this
It’s so lovely 💓
Regardless of the outcome on any of these hair care videos on this channel, you can always count on the people in the comments to absolutely destroy the hair stylist. No one holds back in these comment sections.
Amazingggggggggggg
I don't feel like she's 100% happy with the final result cause she requested for a vibrant pink hair I'm just saying ...
Still look good tho but not what I expected. Personally, I don't dig these black roots at all 😐
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS
+addidespickens You're the best!!
This is so cool!!!!🤯🤯🤯😆😆😆
love it
How do you apply to get your hair done with Refinery29? 🥺
these stylists always get absolutely ripped apart in the comments love it
finally a good transformation. pink hair with dark roots is iconic!
It does not look good at all
It looks pretty. Just curious from stylist and people who have experience with this. How long will this color last? What is the color maintenance if she goes back to the same stylist?
the hair color will fade within in 2 weeks not eight weeks…LOL😂
If the hair is damaged and porous even less lmao
That girl is gorheous! Gawdamn!
She looks so pretty 😃😍
Sending good thoughts and wishes your way ❤️✨❤️💮❤️✨
Why would she leave the roots? That's just more work for when she needs to rehighlight. I'm not even sure what's going on in the back 😬
But she didn’t highlight. You probably think so cause of the foil. But the foil in this case is used in each section cause the hair is so dark. So that the lift will be more even.
For foil, she would of weaved the hair pieces then applied bleach.
As for the roots. The client could of asked for this. Not everyone wants a full bleach. I have had fashion color for years. I don’t ever ask for a full bleach. So that the grow out is a bit softer. If I did a full bleach. I would need a root touch up every 4-6 weeks. Before it would be considered a color correction.
Having a shadow root means the roots don’t have to be the same level as the mids and ends. Not doing a full bleach till root she can go longer before coming back in for a touch up.
Like I go every 6 months instead of every 6 weeks.
@@YAYANDMUSIC the first few seconds of this video she said the bleach was the longest part. Maybe not highlight in particular but I meant to say lighten her hair. This is super high maintenance so yes she should've brought it right up to the root.
And bringing it to the root isn't always necessarily for full bleaches. It's so that you make less work for yourself when you need to touch up and the fade out will be back to a level 9 and not dark over grown roots.
@tanaja meo yes also very patchy
Just in time for Gossip Girl
😍 i always wanted to dye my hair too, but since its black itd be more difficult. Looks nice but i dont care for maitenance, prob stick with wigs 😭
i love evan mock
this ain’t it guys, one shampoo and she’s going to look even more washed out... Might as well have gone for a legit deep pink so it doesn’t look yellow and weird in two seconds
Beautiful she did say rose gold not bright pink, love the result good job stylist ❤️
Great!
WOW!
In the stylists defence, this is a very time consuming and difficult process to execute well.
The back-to-back foil process was IMO the correct thing to do for the clients mid-lengths. However, she should have finished the job by reapplying the bleach to the clients roots and as a wash over the mid-lengths, with further processing to get her base as light as possible before applying the target shade. This wouldve achieved a cleaner, more consistent colour overall.
I wouldn't have done the dark pink transition, unless as an intermediary colour before doing the all over light pink in the next bleaching session on a different day to give the clients hair a break.
It kinda looks patchy and the roots don't look melted
She said she didn't want it to be patchy but I could easily see the lines of transition at the back. Idk. I feel like maybe it would have been covered up better if she went with more pink and less blonde. Currently it seems to look like what strawberry blonde sounds like.
Wow. The roots on the back are so patchy.
Literally would have took me 6-7 hours to do all this without an assistant. And 250-300 tops is what I can charge on average where I live. I know it would be a lot more in the city.
this hair colour was made for my queen here-
Best video 😍❤️❤️
It still has a yellow color is that normal?
That pink shade really complements her skin, beautifull girl with beautifull hair
She's aggressively thanking the stylist but her face expression is betraying her lol
8 weeks? a pink that light on my hair hair will be gone in max 2 washes even with sulfate free shampoo.
She looks like a cotton candy haired goddess
Sakura!
I think the hairdresser did an amazing job w the color. I have an issue with the haircut. In my opinion it looks messy in the back and it's too bulky at the bottom. But I don't think the hairdresser did the cut.
Wow it's beautiful!! Just like her❤
~Peace &Love💜💙💚🧡💛
From, New Orleans🎷🎼🎺
I lpve korean beauty😩😩
so how much is it?
The color looks really faded... three washes and I bet the pink will disappear 😂
I'm soo sorry for the girl it looks soo washed off like it has been on her head for a month!! her roots was blackk not even lifted for a bit
