Forty years ago, Tamil secessionists given safe haven by India bombed Chennai airport, killing dozens. Terrorists trained by the Research and Analysis Wing would go on to kill Indian soldiers, and assassinate Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. As India allegedly wages covert on terrorists harboured in Pakistan and the West, it shouldn’t forget to always remember that the means it uses matter, not just the ends.

5 people were imprisoned for life and he says no one was ever punished. This is the same quisling who when asked why they did not report the ethnic cleansing of the Kashmiri Pandits said because of the Ram Mandir agitation they did not wanted the world to know that such crimes were being perpetrated on Hindus in India, that would have gone against the majoritarian narrative they were building. Now, this guy is giving us gyaan on foreign policy and extra territorial operations.

@@prantarbasuchoudhury9265 i listened to the entire video. As usual Praveen argues tat India should never hit back against any of its enemies bcoz we ll incur some losses. Our losses n deaths due to actions of our enemies, always seem to be lesser than the -ve consequences resulting from our reaction to it. He doesnt advocate for a different assertive action. He always indirectly argues tat we should never be assertive. Inaction n victim blaming is his MO.. u n he ve an agenda. N its the agenda of the rest of us to clear the weeds..

India Today back in those days had done a detailed article with photographs showing Tamil militants being trained by the Indian intelligence. Indira Gandhi herself was doing what Pakistan has been doing and that too against a neighbor who wasnt a threat to India. Rajeev Gandhi to played along, but in a sudden about turn decided ( with zero reasoning) to send the Indian army to fight the same militants that they had trained. This move was neither welcomed by the LTTE nor the Sri Lankan army and the IPKF found themselves fighting on foreign soil not knowing who was a friend or foe. LTTE and sections in the Sri Lankan army actually shared intelligence which was used by the LTTE to inflict heavy casualties on the IPKF. Finally under VP Singh IPKF returned back to India totally unsung, from a war that none of them understood why they were fighting. Both Indira and Rajiv laid the foundation for their own assassinations ( which the Congress today calls "martyrdom" ).

Bahukutumbi Raman, then RAW head, was an open supporter of the LTTE and even while the Sri Lankan military had started the campaign that would destroy them eventually, he kept writing article after newspaper and magazine article with veiled wishful thinking that the LTTE would win and defeat Sri Lankan forces, until Maj Gen Ashok Mehta wrote an editorial bluntly asking him to shut up.
I remember the late Mr R Nandakumar of The Hindu (he was a close friend of my father's) telling me at the time (I was a student at MCC then) about how he had seen a huge warehouse filled with arms and ammunition at the Madras Port. Just months later, the IPKF was sent to Sri Lanka while Vai Gopalasamy was out on the streets screaming and calling them an "Innocent people Killing Force," P Nedumaran was out saying that the LTTE was turning Jaffna into a "mini Japan" and the orgy of violence that India had encouraged in Sri Lanka would come to eventually consume Rajiv Gandhi himself together with hundreds of thousands of innocent Sri Lankans. The hidden dirtbags who prolonged a war instead of working to enable a just peace all got away with zero legal consequences for their murderous actions.

Unique style of narration cannot be a substitute for substance and coherence of a story.. Anyway.. Praveen doesn't care.. Simply because he is building reference material for anti India foreign media .. That is actually his goal in his field.. to be quoted by NYT, WP, BBC, Al Jazeera etc..

Colonial mentality and hypocrisy is their best traits. They supported all kinds of terrorists in their land and now act as champions against terrorism with various counter-terror conferences. Has the world's least diversity and claim as the most diverse. Has the most backwardness despite the geographic access and yet claim as the most progressed. Has a country of 77 years in age but claim as they got the oldest one. Never had any religion to name for but claim as having the oldest religion. 😂😂😂😂
