Can I just screw in any wall hangers as long as the screw self taps and doesn't puncture the shed?

Nice Job! I have a question, I have the BMS6202 Suncast shed, I just recently assembled it, I have a gap at the top back inside of each corner at the roof, about a 1/2 inch high and a inch long, I'm wondering if that is supposed to be there for venting or did I not put the roof on right, I don't see that gap in your video, do you have a gap there? thanks.

I bought the 3x5 Suncast shed and there is a small gap all along where the roof meets the wall panels. I've read that some people like to caulk all the seams to keep bugs out, but I think I'm going to just glue some bug screen up there so I can still have a little air circulation on the inside, just like you would with a typical wood shed.

There's gaps. Most likely to vent gas vapors or fertilizer fumes or something

I don't understand how you mounted them. That's the big question here.

Does the door hinge hold well with tools hanging on the door?

Yup. I don't put much weight on them though. I do not leave the batteries on the tools.

    How are the shelves mounted?

The unit has slots made for them to sit into. You're supposed to screw them down on the ends but I figured they fit tight enough that isn't really needed. I may be proved wrong.

How did you add the wood shelves?

    • @billmalec

There are slots moulded in for them. I cut them to fit the notches moulded in and then held them in place at the outer edges with screws from the top, down thru the wood into the shelving notch. Hope that makes sense. The shed owners manual shows how to do this and has a template for cutting the shelving.

Don't know the name. They were at Home Depot.

Is there a specific name of the hangers you used on the doors. Looking to get some for mine

Just something I found at Home Depot.

Whats the bolt size that you used for the hanging rack instead of the plastic ones ?

what is the tread size for the bolts you used to mount the racks

    • @billmalec

You can get the plastic ones from Suncast. It is a bit difficult to get ahold of them but you can do it. The metal bolts I used... Honestly I have no idea what size or thread count or pitch.
