Outer Banks Trip May 2023

- We traveled to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with my mother and sister for a week in the middle of May. We stayed on the go constantly and still didn't get to everything we wanted to, but we had a great time. Tawnee started her National Parks Passport Book this trip and that has started to open up some other ideas for travel.
Great staycation!
Even though it was in North Carolina, it was a six hour drive, but one set of grandchildren are at the halfway mark.
Looks like a great adventure!
It really was. We were so glad my 84 year old mother could join us. She was up for everything except the lighthouse climbs.
Oh my. The food a the end is some Southern beach goodness. Yummmm
Beautiful photos! We are from central NC, and I am yet to travel to the Outer Banks! It is definitely on our travel list. ❤️
We stayed in Kitty Hawk and had several options of places fairly close by. If you have the option to travel when school is in session it will not be crowded. We enjoyed going in may even though the ocean is to cold to get in. Thanks for watching and we are glad you enjoyed it.
