One of the best Bass Players ever.
The rhythm section made the music stellar!!
Just finished this book....a must read for any fan of "The Alice Cooper Band"!
Dennis, I just bought your book. I am enjoying it thoroughly. I am a long time fan of the original Alice cooper group.
Thank you for writing the book and sharing your memories.
One of "Rocks" Greatest Bass Player! A Huge Inspiration to play Bass for me.
ikr?
Thank you for this post,Dennis we love you.
As good of bass player as anyone there ever was. And buxton was a Great lead guitar player. Heard some idiot in an interview saying that these guys weren't very good musicians and that Bob Ezrin covered up for their deficiencies. These guys were the best of the best musicians
I love this book!
Thanks Dennis & Strand 🎶🎸🎶
I pulled out Killer, SO, B$B, and MOL to reacquaint myself on how great this band was...pure genius, one of the Top 5 best American bands in rock. DD is surely one of the best bassists. ordered the book...
People who claim to be fans don't know of Pretties for You or Easy Action.
I'm proud of having this book...
Favorite band of all time. They were remarkable.
i use to get Circus and Cream magazines, cut out Alice Cooper pics and stapled them to my bedroom wall. That started way back in the early 70s.
Cool band great songs love these guys 😊
"No more pencils, One more book" -- 😄
I wish I could give this two thumbs up. One for Dennis, and another just for Dennis mentioning Paul Samwell-Smith. Paul was a great innovative bassist, but switched over to the record-production side of things and (IMO) is too easily overlooked.
What a great guy. Yes the 'compression' kinda hurts it (the 'sucking-up' of background), but it is what it is, and he is a gem.
The show might have been their "schtick" - but for me, it was the musicianship - like getting hit between the ears with a tasty five pound sonic sledge. The Alice Cooper Group had the tightest, floor-leveling rhythm section, paired with eerily soaring harmony leads, the grungiest power chords and VINCE FURNIER, a fermented, brandied CHERRY on top !
I'm reading this book slowly, because I'm going to hate it when it's over. It's a great book.
I've got a few more chapters to go before I'm finished with this book. Some very interesting stories for sure. This book has definitely rekindled my interest in the original Alice Cooper band.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!😃🎈😃🎈😃🎈😃🎈😃🎈😃🎈😃🎈😃🎈😃

shame there had to be so much noise going on. Was trying to figure out why, which was distracting of course.
