Chris’ greatest strength as a comedian is how oddly specific his similes are but you still always understand what he’s talking about. Leading to such memorable phrases such as “preteen girl at her bat mitzvah disassociating doing Greased Lightning choreography” and “chihuahua at a parade”
i'm not usually a big fan of overly physical stand-up but that denouement was such a great example of something that is only possible in a live stand-up context; so good
This last line has been stuck in my head for days, and so my inner monologue is simply, "I know its for baaaabieees s but I NEeD It." and no one else around me can hear the terror track that is just going through my head. all they can hear is me chuckling to myself as I am haunted by this line over and over it plays.
I saw Chris in December 2016 Chicago. I hope Netflix picks him up for a series or a stand up special!! He’s so original and his comedy delivery is pure genius; punchlines and observations are always spot on. We have a local Korean Spa here, I love going and will usually invite friends and I always try to prep them as much as possible regarding the nudity so they aren’t caught off guard, but even if prepped, its a unique setup.
