The Japanese 影高校 reads “kage koukou” which can be directly translated to shadow high school. So it’s basically the usual Shadow High branding, just in another language.

Thx for another great video Lizzie and omg shes so pretty.. and also congrats on getting an email from Mattel.. tbh there's not much new stuff coming out for monster high that we know of so far (except for black and white frankie as voltageous, which btw is gorgeous) and I think that's the only brand they would contact you for so.. idk that's just my thinking.. but whatever it is I can't wait to see it. :)

Hey Courtly, I have two questions:
1. I wanna display them by color order on my window, but I don’t know which dolls should go in the front and which ones should go in the back. Any suggestions?
2. Should I collect in series order or rainbow orders (pink dolls, red dolls, orange dolls, etc)?
I don’t collect in any specific order personally, I just buy the dolls I like first. As for displays, I’m not sure! Put your favorites at the front maybe? That’s how I’d do it

Random japanese characters or writing is just a popular trend in fashion. I think it's fine to see her as being Japanese! But I'm going to go out on a limb and say it likely wasn't the original intention of the designers.
