all these new and crazy smgs lately but no exotic handcannons in years
An exotic HC that's break action (so it reloads like spare/trust), maybe in the energy slot. Maybe that shoots like the new Warden's Law too.
Or a rapid exotic pulse that's built for PVP, of all thr pulses in the game, we don't have an exotic rapid.
We have more exotic hand cannons than exotic any other weapon type. Let the other guns catch up before you start demanding more of the same.

The Showrunner can have Overflow + Target Lock and has the same origin trait. Might be cold 🧐
I've heard extending the mag works against target lock since it makes the dmg ramp up slower

@@teknyon I haven’t tested it myself, but it could actually benefit from the overflow rounds.
Look at Focused Fury. That perk is based on the top half of the magazine. Let’s say your SMG has a base mag of 30, with overflow bringing it to 60, you would activate Focused Fury after 15 crits and use the remaining 45 rounds with that damage boost.
Using the same hypothetical SMG with 30 base mag but with Target Lock, it might use the 30 rounds to build up Target Lock stacks so you have max stack for the remaining 30 rounds.
Again, haven’t tested it, but could possibly work.

Overflow is cool but dynamic sway + origin makes showrunner unable to bodyshot istg, nothing but crits
they knew full well that they were doing when they made this weapon. they laugh in our face with it's flavor text.
gutshot + target lock lets you hit a .90 ttk off just bodyshots. its actually so free
constantly between .90-.70 with or without aim

I got a Showrunner from the Red War engrams with Arrowhead + Ricochet Rounds + Dynamic Sway + Fragile Focus + a Range MW which puts it already at a little over 20 meters before the origin trait kicks in. It's super easy to use.
I used to run SMGs and PKs during Shadowkeep and Beyond Light. It’s weird to see everyone doing it now when I used to be weird.

SMGs today are far worse than Y3-Y5, we used to have way clutcher things like antiope, 26m CCX, 29m shayuras. still confused about the so called 'Y6 SMG meta'
haha i used to run around with extraordinary rendition and ikelos dual aggressive smgs on PKs for fun. The try hard loadout is duality-multimach or shayuras-chappy.
@@ELL-vr1rpsmgs had more range but other guns were much stronger. Special weapons dominated the close range and the short lived 600 rpm auto meta made smgs completely irrelevant
also try out riskrunner. The range changes did wonders for the thing and basically feels like 22m when playing. It's actually amazing now (its 21.70m btw which pretty much base for most high range smgs without a range buff perk)

You're absolutely right . They simply made the players intolerants. It's a pity that they do this deliberately. But thanks to this, many people stop taking the game seriously and begin to devote less time to it.
I was going to say this is exactly like synchronic roulette, except that has keep away and has more range.
You can roll TL on it too so its basically this with better range and more accuracy from keep away
I've got that synchronic roll and do not enjoy it whatsoever, the base stats are just awful unfortunately

Sorry I deleted that roll, because it had terrible 1st n 2nd column perks, now have kill clip instead
I like it much better than immortal or SW. The handling is fine and I have 78 range with range MW and the Origin trait. It's quite good.
There's 3 Shayuras wraths now if you count the recovered red war SMG, it's a lightweight frame, but it melts with target lock
How are you gonna compare a 900rpm smg with shayura? Just because it’s good, doesn’t mean it’s comparable to a weapon of completely different archetype.

@@OnionyCabbage Comparing a 900rpm to a 600rpm smg is like comparing a 120 HC with a 260rpm scout. Sure it would make more sense to compare scouts and handcannons of similar ROF such as 180’s but the afformentioned archetypes are way too different in terms of stats and ROF to even be considered comparable
Honestly when it comes to weapons in general I play more aggressively, so I exclusively use Fluted Barrel, and a range-boosting magazine unless it needs recoil direction in which case I use arrowhead brake.

Just got one with full bore, accurized, pm, and target lock with a range masterwork, I use ophidians with a stasis dex mod so the handling is just fine

@@cyclo_17 true. It's still worth trying out though. Especially since it can roll target lock as well and has the nadir origin trait too. It can even roll with kinetic tremors as well which is rather unique in my opinion.

Target lock is meh rn. Miss 1 shot lose the perk, the reason it looks decent now is due to hyper aggro plays where you cant miss from how short the distance is. But in this case you're severely risking getting shut down by a shotgun or titan melee.
I feel like they cant figure out how to nerf smgs without making them suck so they are just gonna make broken ones for each subclass.

there’s a 900rpm smg from vanguard I think with pretty much the same perk pool
The new vanguard sniper can bodyshot for 200 with highground and a rift/radience buff
The only roll I got from this has hammer forged, range MW, perpetual target lock.

Wallah, u need, and I mean need to try cold denial after the changes, that shits is a high impact with hand cannon zoom and no dmg falloff penalty, quite possibly the best feeling pulse ive ever tried, its insane. Oh, and try to use it with ophidians if possible, handling is a bit low.

Wallah you need to craft the new seasonal sniper “Locus Locutus”! I crafted mine and it is CRISPY.
Fluted barrel, accurized rounds, enhanced keep away, enhanced opening shot, handling master work. Don’t sleep on the origin trait “head rush”. It makes up for a lot of handling since there is no “snap shot”.

My first match of the new season I was given one with dynamic sway and fragile focus lol. I dont know why bungie has to make that origin perk. for all things at this time on an smg. It would be a strong 600 without that perk, then to give it a perk that boosts not only range but accuracy. It feels like they are just trolling lol.

It had 15 zoom so it basically had built in rangefinder. and 15 zoom smg range got nerfed down to 14 zoom range

600’s dont have the shitty floaty recoil pattern all the other smg’s have. Thats why.
600 is the aito meta so thats probably why. These smgs shoot like tye best autos in the game

It's a little sad, but tbh it's to have a decent crucible drop for every match we play.
Crucible drops in d1 we something to look forward for after a match, and that is clearly gone.
The postmatch rewards screen was nice, but the current one for commendations takes forever to load so idk if it's a good idea anymore lol
the perks in pve is pretty decent too.
