Has anyone tried this? I guess your IP is obscured since your IP appears as the VPN service's IP, but the payload itself isn't encrypted.
I actually have a question and I am not sure whom to ask. I've seen you post more about qBittorrent than anyone else, and I am hoping you can help with my question.
I have qbittorrent installed on several machines downloading different content. I am getting ready to build a server and I would like to migrate all instances of qbittorrent to one on the new to be server. I am willing to shut down the service for a while as I get the server up and running the way I'd like. My question is twofold, how do I move a qbittorrent download file from one HDD to another? I have found many tutorials, but none seem to have worked correctly. And is it possible to merge multiple instances of these together into one download session?
A response of any kind would be greatly appreciated, whether you can help or not.

Thanks, you say it encrypts your IP address. Does it also encrypt what you are downloading or streaming? Will ISP know what show you are streaming? Thanks in advance.
It assigns you a random shared IP, it does not encrypt your connection
I've been watching socks5 proxy videos for awhile now, and I gave up on them as the presentation is either a fuckin' 45 minute IT engineering class, or it was oversimplified as the content creator assumed anyone watching their vid MUST a fuckin' nerd already and know about it, so no need to explain shit!
