"Do you have any questions for me while I am here?" Yes. Why have you still not left my property? You are not wanted nor needed here. Go. You are _dismissed._ "
I don't know what the noise ordinance laws are in the USA but in my city the regulations state that we may not disturb our neighbours with excessive noise at anytime of the day or night. Obviously doing the normal chores like mowing the lawn etc are tolerated. This lady has been informed that her dogs bark a lot when she is out which is enough to drive any neighbour crazy. There are measures she can take to solve the problem but she chooses not to do so which is inconsiderate of her.
Cops are always on the wrong side of everything!! My neighbors called the cops on one of our neighbors for playing her kids music to loud in her driveway. Meanwhile the guy who called them was blasting a morman thing it was so loud! The cop came and actually said it depends on what side of the street you live on. That’s oregon for you.
Just from her not being able to have a courteous human conversation I would say she is the problem. Little tinny sounding speakers at full volume are way more annoying than a large set of good speakers at the same volume.
The problem is that every city has its own ordinances when it comes to Excessive Noise. What is allowed in one city may be totally illegal in the next. So there's no way of telling if the cop was right or wrong and if he was or wasn't harassing the woman.
I'd tell my to back off so I don't have a case of harassment. The worse part is that the local pd doesn't have to go to this call setting them up for a harassment case too .
Sounds like those neighbors just don't want you to have music playing at all, which is total crap. It's unreal that they can't even let you enjoy your time spent outside on your own property.
She’s gonna end up in jail with that crap attitude. You can stand for your rights without being a douche. - noise complaints usually don’t have an daytime hour restriction… poor cop 😕
I have been the unfortunate neighbor who had to put up with loud music, loose and barking dogs. If you don’t want the police coming to your house repeatedly, be more considerate. But they never learn.
Makes me glad I live here where during the day people play music, shoot guns, mow, ride 4 wheelers. Can it get annoying? Well of course, but people have a right to do these things on their property. Most of my neighbors keep it between 8:00 am and 8-9:00 pm. The few that don't, get calls or somebody going by and asking them to quit as most people here have to sleep to get up for work or school. So far, so good
Imagine what it would be like if people minded their own business...

Disturbing the peace and noise complaint laws are way too vague and able to be abused. Also if the neighbors don't cut the shit start protesting louder in your yard, police arent supposed to be able to stop a peaceful protest. some people have to learn that way
"Do you have any questions for me while I am here?"
Yes. Why have you still not left my property? You are not wanted nor needed here. Go. You are _dismissed._ "
for not answering questions she sure says a lot.
Even something Petty as this.
The police just can't help themselves. earning the hate every day with no end in sight 💯😢
You do realize he has to manke contact if someone calls right?
The police need to arrest the neighbors
Great job standing for your rights!
👍👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Cop got a complaint, cop addressed the complaint. Officer just doing his job.
Karen snitched on a Karen!
We have motorcycles and some cars blaring music and speeding up the street all the time, even at night. Cops won't do a damn thing.
U handled that like a pro
Cops are always on the wrong side of everything!! My neighbors called the cops on one of our neighbors for playing her kids music to loud in her driveway. Meanwhile the guy who called them was blasting a morman thing it was so loud! The cop came and actually said it depends on what side of the street you live on. That’s oregon for you.
Fortunately this cop was a gentleman.
She is correct. The decibel level is lower 10pm until 7am. The officer must have been decimeter to measure to sound to see if there is a violation
It’s against the law for officers to force law on city ordinances
You tell that tyrant, Renee! 😅
I'd tell my to back off so I don't have a case of harassment. The worse part is that the local pd doesn't have to go to this call setting them up for a harassment case too .
False police reports should be a fine or arrest
Let him bring the DB meter and from the neighbors house check it if it's beyond the permissible level... Till then stay off the property bully copper
Officer should use a decibel meter...once he sees it's below tolerance he can go arrest plaintiff for multiple false reports. 😁👍
well to be fair, I do now play music outside , and can not stand to hear the neighbors trashy rap blaring. its disrespectful.
It’s a case of two liars the 911 caller and the cop.
I subscribed to you a while ago to support you.
It is best not to open the door and engage in any conversation without a warrant they can't do anything to you
Noise ordinance during the day doesn't exist! What about lawn mowers, motorcycles construction work? Cops full of it!
No crime, why even engage the occupant??
She could save herself and others a lot of trouble by spending $30 on some bluetooth headphones.
So far, so good
Way to stand up for yourself! It wouldn't bother me to have you for a neighbor.
