My cdc application shows last name first. It is correct in the seafarers profile. Did you have it the same way? And if you had last name first in the cdc application, then did your name come correctly in cdc?

Dear Sire , I have two passports . Old and renewed passport with different address. But my old cdc and old passport have same address and Sire, I already have uploaded my new passport on my dg profile.
So, please suggest which passport I have to upload while renewing cdc??
Agr passport ko error ane ke bad saturday ko upload kra ho to monday tk ho jayega kya ya monday ko wapas upload krna hota hai
You have to upload it only once. Irrespective of the day you do it. It will get processed on a working day, like Monday in this case, if Monday is a public holiday then on Tuesday.

Hey bro.. last time I applied renewal of cdc and expiry date was very closed by due to 2nd wave of covid 19. After that they rejected. Now what I should do about cdc is almost gone upto more than few months due to severe family problems.

@@manndeepsingh7307 if you do replacement then automatically your cdc should be valid (it will be renewed). Since they will issue new cdc so it's same as passport renewal/replacement.

Hey I applied online renewal as per process but by mistake I filled Chennai office. I am from Mumbai. My old cdc belongs to Mumbai office and I want from same office. So how to change Chennai to Mumbai or if I unable to change office then what will happen.? Pls guide me
Oh this is the first one that I have heard. I literally have no idea about this. Since you are from Mumbai. What I can suggest is visit mangalam store near to mmd. And ask them personally. Or these are the numbers I could find

Bro for renwal Indian cdc, do we need stcw and sso valid , and do we need valid medical certificate too, and one more question that you that put our correspond address we can receive our cdc but my permanent address in passport and cdc then in my correspond address. Thanking you
1.Yes you need valid medical certificate.
2. You need valid stcw courses. If you have Advance courses they also work but you need to have valid EFA/MFA/MEDICAL CARE, FPFF/AFF, PST/PSCRB and latest PSSR 2010 COURSE.
3. in the cdc application form put your address where you want to receive your cdc. I have mentioned that in the video.

Doesn't matter what you give color or black and white. If it is written "scanned copy", if it's written " color copy " or anything specific you have to take care. But try and give color cause it's more convenient and efforts are same for color and black and white.
Sir I just apply my passport for renewal.my cdc also going to expire can I apply for renewal or I apply after I receive my new passport
I would suggest do one document at a time. Because if you have changed any address or any other detail in your passport you can use this passport as a proof of change in your other document. That's what I have done and it worked. Kudos best of luck for your renewal.

Basically it's a correction. If you have an option to go to Mumbai or any other mmd they will guide you better.
I got my address changed by on passport and later on cdc by going to mmd physically.

Yes you can.
In online form fill the correspondence address. I have mentioned in the video.
Seafarer profile pein discipline change karna hain kaise.....
Discipline change I have not seen. I would suggest go to any cyber cafe close to mmd or maritime college which do seafarer profile correction they can surely help advice you.
hallo my CDC is expired in 2018. can I get job if i renew for new CDC..? now I'm 33. i have only total 3 months ( FG) experience in my entire sea life.
It's very difficult. Now the systems have become very strict. Frankly I don't think it won't be possible. Because if you renew you will have 3 month experience and minimum 6 month experience is required in this field. And if rating minimum 9 months sea service is required. You can join but by an agent by paying some money, and it will be very risky... And If I was in your position I would be doing some other job/ work rather than struggling in this field.
CAN I APPLY MY CDC WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM EXPIRY THAT IS I STILL HAVE 10 MONTHS FRO EXPIRY . PLS ADVISE
It's better to do a contract with 10 months on the cdc. It will be waste of money if you renew it now sir as your renewal will start from the date sticker arrives. And as per their info they say 6 months.
So I would suggest do one contract and then renew. As indian we try to juice out the maximum.
I somewhere read that if your cdc expires when you are onboard the cdc remains valid till next port or till you get home there is a provision like that.
So unless your contract is for 9 months I would recommend not renewing it. This expiry date will also help in your signoff. If you understand what I am trying to imply.

Sir Ji CDC ka aisa hai if you have applied everything correctly it should not take more than 28 days. I have told my experience and what mistakes I did.

You have to visit a cafe where they correct the mmd profile. I know of Mumbai near the mmd there are several cafes which fill seafarers profile. They can help you out. Of look up Mangalam's phone number and try to call them. If they pick up ask them what to do, maybe they will help.
Or try it from a desktop to re upload the image.

Keep 28 days as standard wait period of any dg docs to arrive you. It can come early or late but on average it tales 28 days.

I would like to know the procedure for getting a new CDC booklet. My old CDC booklet pages have finished, hence need a new one. Do I need to apply under 'Replacement of CDC' option?? Also do i need to submit old CDC to shipping master? and will I get back this old CDC alongwith my new CDC?
1. Fill the data & Generate Application No. ( YES REPLACEMENT OF CDC)
2. Pay Fees online.
3. Take print out of the application,sign on it and upload along with required documents.
4. In case of uploading of Photo and Signature,It is requested that only the photograph or signature may be selected/highlighted and scanned and not the entire page.Online Application will not be processed unless candidate’s upload their scanned Photograph and signature as specified.After uploading the photograph/ signature in the online application form candidates should check that the images are clear and have been uploaded correctly. In case the photograph or signature is not prominently visible, the candidate may re-upload his/ her photograph or signature. In case the application submitted has unclear scanned photograph/signature or both, the application may be rejected.
5. Date of upload of documents will be treated as date of submission of aplication for all purpose for application submitted to Shipping Master Office.
6. Original mutilated / torn / damaged CDC to be sent to Shipping Master Office along with signed online application.
I think you should get back your cdc because then how will you show your seatime.
But I have not seen anyone with 2 cdc in career.

Till now it is showing under process.
Should I send my old CDC now or after approval.

There is no requirement to send your cdc as of now unless they specifically mention in remark section. The address you will get on website itself.

I applied on 7sep 2021 but still it’s showing under process
7th September to 22 is only 15 days. It had multiple holidays Ganesh thing was going on. Plus Saturdays and Sundays it will come just keep patience for the period mentioned in the video. You should shortly get the tracking number I hope. It will come... due to covid, it's like same old days where it used to take 30 to 45 days. No worries it will come.

General Instructions

All candidates should read and understand the Eligibility Criteria before filling INDIAN CDC Application form.
Any candidate who does not meet the eligibility criteria but continues to fill the application form will not be allowed to proceed to the stage of interview. Also, such candidates will not be entitled to obtain any refund of his Application fees of Rs.3000/-.
All information provided in this application form, is to be true and complete in all respect. If it is found that any misrepresentation or omission of information is done by the candidates it will be considered sufficient for withdrawal of the offer and dismissal from the course at any stage.
Terms of Application
All related costs incurred as a result of the short listed applicant attending the interview, including cost of medical tests and psychometric test, shall be fully borne by the applicant himself.
Any dispute concerning the interpretation of any of the terms and conditions of admission shall be resolved amicably.
