Oh my it's been a while and don't have the car anymore. You will have to wire it up to the dimmer switch that turns on the dash backlight on. Unfortunately I don't remember which wires. But get a multimeter and you can test the wires one at a time till you find the right one
I have an older car (2002 Chrysler 300m) with exactly the same problem! It must be a Chrysler big bug...Looks like instrument cluster should be changed.. (backlight on and off intermittently). Expensive job...I think this must be my last Chrysler car, though I loved it. What a shame, Chrysler!

Same problem here with my Chrysler 300 2006 backlight turns off then 2 seconds turns on.
