these are very good to know. A fully comprehensive guide would probably take ages, but I wish I knew this when just starting out. I think people could explain factions a little more, not just about what is available to craft but what armor bits you want to accumulate, when to switch factions
*TIP:* - Attach fuel barrel/tank into Train Plow (or any bumper) when your plow or bumper are destroyed your fuel barrel not explode only fall off :P (Same with generators or any exploding thing. *cough* Gas Generator *cough* ) This not works really well agains Scorpions, Executioner or any piercing perk. But is better than attach under your cabin. Cya :D
I have a tip, one of the best counters to harvesters are the hatchets and blades that you can place in front of your vehicle. These ramming melee’s actually can take a decent amount of damage from the melee weapons (harvesters,borers,buzzsaws,etc.). They are just strong enough to buy you enough time to evade or dish out some of your own damage.
The biggest thing you missed is the fact that fuel barrels/tanks don't stack their effect. I've seen so many builds that were pretty much fuel trucks with like 6 fuel barrels inside.

Well removed some mesh parts on my side of my hotrod now and replaced them with solit pieces kf metal. Thanks man i tought since i heard from other youtubers that mesh count as spaced armour. Guess probably for rockets ?
Great video, bit late lol. I made myself a grind car with 4 luparas, spaced and layered armor, growl and ampere. Do you think it's good? It contains fuel tank and barrel, too.
Mr. G Defiantly do a updated paints guide/show case, your old on is cool but its well, old and there's a ton of new paints that don't look like what the canister looks like.
please start holding alt instead of flying around your car while flying look at part in building mode hold alt camera now locked to that part, makes the whole 360 thing you do a lot better
Great video! I think saying that you can't stack fuel barrels would have been a good one. I see people up at 5000+ ps with 2-3 fuel barrels and it makes me want to cry. Same with putting fuel barrels and tanks on raid vehicles.
I sometimes use barrels on raids if I want to test a build. Nice on leviathan raids since you see if they are well protected and how the build works out.
I love how you give key commands and also give the commands for console too, cause y’know, not everyone plays on pc. Oh. Oh you didn’t. So can I spawn bots my garage on console? If so what do I press? Other than that gripe very informative video. Just, please, remember that there are multiple platforms this game plays on and many people watching your videos will want help navigating the game and you giving only pc directions and not even a hint as to what to do on console or even if we can on console (I know the mobile version is vastly different so who’s to say pc and console isn’t?)

Some are after weapons. And long ago I when with the med tracks due to tires always getting taken out vs some raiders. Might have mentioned the two fuel barrels stack so large & small survive till end gets you 15 fuel. For new players all the armor in the world wont help vs the high end weapons when your weapons are doing a fraction of the damage. Less armor for a lower PS just means you will see the same high end weapons, just less on a build.
How part structure, cabin structure, and the entire vehicles hp really confused me. So if you have a vehicle with a lots of parts but u damage the cabin to say 5hp, but the armor is untouched, would the armor still work?
Here's a possible fact but hopefully someone can confirm this. It seems that putting on certain bumpers and knives does contact damage not just for the specific part but for the vehicle as a whole?
I believe that is all damage that exceeds nessisary amount to destroy part gets passed on to next part. Or your refering to how if you lose a structure bit you lose some cab life. Because this is also true.
Well, I meant that bumpers and knives can help your vehicle do ramming damage. But I don't know if the bumpers/ knives have to be at the contact point for your vehicle to do ramming damage. I see people putting knives and bumpers in strange places - accepting that bumpers can be used to protect weapons
ML-200 have ramp dmg to them aswell, ppl can break thier wheels by ramping into me. Sidenote: You can (with ML-200) run into turrent and 1 shot them :P)
I have a question Mr. G. *Raises hand politely* In relation to the theme of lesser known mechanics of the game, and the recent addition of Grenadier drones and the Call and Harpy cabs. Obviously they both buff the grenadier, the Call by boosting build power and damage resistance and Harpy by increasing their explosion radius but have you (or anyone that reads this) found a copilot that seems to mesh well with them? My (XOne sn: WaitNoWellCrap) experience has lead me to run Bulldog, as my drone build is covered in many passive melee parts and he grants buffs for melee. Is that correct? Im hoping to see either a new faction and copilot or an update tweak to accentuate perks in for the nade drone, since neither Perseus nor Hans seem to make a difference. Kinda feel like Perseus could/should buff both flying and wheeled drones, although that may call for a few rebalances amongst the copilots all on its own, as that would make Perseus buff 4 weapon types. Thoughts?
I did not know that radar receives (perceives) and transmits like the radio. Now I'm curious why there are both in game. Edit: I just noticed also that this vid is two years old and wonder what's changed, if anything, mostly because many of the "how to build/what to use" videos stress both radar and radio.

idk how experienced you are in crossout, so i hope you dont mind if you already know that, but ... build the tanks either UNDER your vehicle or use a cabin like "Trucker" , which has spaces on the side where you can hide the tanks (works especially well with tracks, since they protect the tanks from the sides =)
Careonovam i use the new cabin and tank tracks. I used the same set up with spider cabin with ps around 9200 but in those games my weapons were not very usefull.
Don't bother taking fuel barrels into raids. You won't receive any fuel. Instead make your build stronger and with 2 more parts. Also as someone else already said, you can't stack fuel barrels. Only the barrel and the tank not 2 or more barrels or 2 or more tanks.
I've been playing crossout for a long time and everytime I see a fuel barrel I noticed that they're building is horrible do not use fuel it makes you get killed easily every person I see with a fuel barrel with a build that is a higher level than mine I think to myself and wonder why would they make their vehicle weaker a good strategy is shotguns and coolers

Fuel tanks add to explosion on self destruction.. Go out with a bigger bang and cause more damage. 🤔 🤔
