These series was INCREDIBLY useful! Thank you! Every tip was well thought out and valuable. I'm subscribing to your channel.
Awesome and thank you!
Lol my favorite, "let's speed up" next tip Speed kills
Hah, right?! :D That's like crazy bus driver: "Buckle up, we are all going to die!!" and pedal to metal :D
#15: You can also winch another truck with it's trailer. Truck-trailer > Truck-trailer. The second truck will steer the last trailer. Just disengage for wooden bridges, those don't like freight trains ^^
Yes, after the video I realized this - thank you for this awesome tip!!!
And the problem with truck towing (about the wooden bridges) what I hate is - you can tie the rope to your truck back in the middle...BUT other car front has 2 points and none of them are the center of the truck! That leads to the 'issue' where towed car is NOT center aligned to your truck - thus making wooden bridges a problem.. :D
@@MLMariss You can try winching it in reverse instead. That way it has rear wheel steer too. Not sure if this could work with a second trailer attached though..
I honestly am using this all the time! So much more time efficient than driving the trucks individually for deliveries and so on.
Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? You are a Snowrunner angel! No but seriously, this series is super helpful, I just got the game from steam sales and I like to see some tips before venturing further in the game, your videos are the best I've seen. Thank you so much!
Yes! Thank you! But I was able to get up from the fall thanks to my awesome viewers who life me up and my spirit as well!!
Thank you so much - highly appreciated and happy to hear I can improve gaming experience for others!
Thanks a lot for those tips. Your tips videos are the most complete I've found untik now for this game. Congrats and keep your good work!
Thank you, will do!
Really been enjoying this game and I really appreciate these videos. Especially because you're giving facts but still keeping some of the tips open ended for your own experimentation. Definitely gonna subscribe
Glad you enjoy it! And thank you for kind words! This is awesome game where many approaches are available and I like that! ;)
Thanks a lot for your 3 tips videos! They are not only useful but you also care about time saving to deliver them. That's how its done right.
Glad you like them and I'm still working on time reduction to pack even more info in even less time! :D I think that will be my lifetime goal :D
Thank you. Very much for your time! This video series was the most useful out of all of the ones I've found. I appreciate you!
Thank you for your kind words - happy to help!
You bring the real tips. Thank you. I was having trouble with the intricacies that the game does not tell you, and you explain it all very well. Again, thank you.
You're very welcome - happy to help ;)
Yours are maybe the best tips videos for Snowrunner on CZcams! I really appreciate that you pack in all the tips summarized nicely right at the start of the video - there are so many videos that are 10-20 minutes long with 8-10 tips which are overexplained to death. Just enough detail with the tips, and more detail later on - excellent video format!
Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! This gives me confidence I'm doing something right! :D
The most helpful series of all the videos I've watched!
Thank you for your kind words! Happy to help ;)
Just made it through all your videos, thanks man! you helped a lot.
Glad to hear it! ;)
Best tips series for Snowrunner out there. Quite a few questions answered, thanks.
Glad it was helpful! ;)
These 3 videos are the best tips videos I found on CZcams , thank you!
Wow, thanks, that means a lot and I'm happy to hear they are useful! :)
These 3 videos alone are very well made but more importantly they are very well informed. Thank you for the information. Subbed.
Awesome, thank you! Happy to help ;)
i only got the game 2 days ago and i must say this series of videos have been really helpful, very well put together.
I'm happy to be helpful and this is really nice game - welcome aboard! :)
Tip 35, I think trailer contents is only shown when you are looking at the map that is *local* to your current position. The game doesn't seem to want to load up all the trailer contents across all maps at all times. Also, I have had success loading from one truck to another by crane. After spending ages trying all sorts of things only to keep seeing the cargo glitch through, I accidentally had the crane anchor off and it worked. Maybe just a coincidence. Great series of tips, thanks for your hard work. This game can be super frustrating so this stuff really helps. My neighbours must think I'm crazy with all the rage screaming and swearing I do while playing :/
You got me giggling with the last comment - I feel you, when you traveled so far and only vehicle in new map and you are almost at the destination and on some small rock you just got your full truck and trailer upside down..oh that frustration!
And thank you for pointing out that crane tip - I heard people managed to get them loaded with some extra tricks and happy to hear that someone manages it..I still cannot believe it's not working..or it was not meant (???) to be working like that?!
And thank you for your kind words - highly appreciated!
Great stuff! Thank you for the help.
Great job pointing out the necessary points of attention! Lovin all 3! You did an amazing job explaining... there’s so much to this game and I totally get what ur sayin about picturing ur next move before taking it. The slightest hesitation can save ur ass in this game... so in this games case, hesitating can be a good thing... you learn a lot more the more time u put into it
Absolutely! Me as always pretty..hasty boiiii (😅) had some rough beginning in the game, after few 'lessons learned' I've started to drive slower what ended up me being faster in the finishing the task :D
This game is really nice pace changer in the gaming for me..as whenever it comes to cars/trucks in games - it's always speed, but not this time! :D
MLMariss most definitely! I’m the same way... Now, it’s obvious to me that slower is better in most cases with this game. Taking ur time instead of rushing can mean all the difference. Learn by doing is the best way and with All of the hours that I have now put into Snowrunner, I can say that having patience is the main priority a majority of the time. Slowing down and evaluating my situation has gotten me through some in game pickles lol! Thanks again for the help! Much appreciated! 😁👍🏻
Happy to help fellow gamers ;)
I have some experience with Spintires but there seems to be a lot more detail in this game so all these tips will come in very useful. Thank you and look forward to seeing more videos soon.
Glad I could help!
Great stuff. Had this game since release but still got some useful info from this series. 👍
Glad to hear it!
#11 so true. Also speed kills especially trying to run over those little road closed signs
Oh, yess! And the rocks on the road..especially when with some a bit bigger ones you managed to pierce your fuel tank and all the fuel leaks out :D Oh boy..happened way more times I'd like to admit :D
Just FYI, you actually can use crane to load other trucks/trailers. As long as the cargo is aligned properly when it falls through, when you switch to to vehicle that is attached to the trailer, you can pack cargo and it raised it up and packs normally.
I heard such rumors and I think it is debunked that the method works with those 4 slot low trailers! As long as the trailer is 2 slot and high from the ground - game gives error saying it could not pick up the goods :/ But thank you for mentioning this - for low trailers (close to the ground) someone can use this trick :)
Yes i have gotten that to work sometimes but also in 5.0 the drop through ist partly fixed so you can load unattached trailers as well.
Thanks again for the video. Must have taken you a while to put together. So far I have put over 30hrs into this game and I still learned new things from this video. Will have to try the 1st person view while using the crane. Later.
Glad you enjoyed it! ;)
Thank you for your great work!
My pleasure!
amazing information.. thank you so much for this my friend.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for your kind words! :)
Thanks for the great tips!
Glad it was helpful!
Good stuff for an awesome game! Thanks for the tips. You have a sharp eye for the details.
Glad you enjoyed and thank you for kind words! :)
Upper echelon tips. Like the GMC MH9500 that is just decoration, I use the gas tanks all the time to refuel scouts that I am moving around Smithville Dam. I refill them for later use as well....even though we can't drive it.
And I always try to put a crane on my truck for two reasons, counterbalance of weights if the truck looks if it's about to spill. Also, if a non-scout truck tips over, you can recover crane repeatedly and make it jump or disturb the vehicle to a possible recovery 🙏
As for your favourite, the ANK-MK38.... finally found it. I like it 😊👍. But the stock suspension is a little too soft for my taste...allows a lot of body roll, although lower to the ground. The raised suspension is stiffer. If the starts tipping, I use the wheels for a kickstand, in the direction it is leaning. It's all about driving calmly 🚚
you are a legend, thankyou for the tips
No, you are legend! :D Thank you for your kind words - happy to be a help :)
Thank you for these tips. keep up the great work. Greetings from Germany
Moin Xd
Hättest du ma bock ne runde snowrunner
Thank you for kind words and greetings to you too ;)
The environmental territory info was aces! Makes a huge difference knowing that now
Happy to hear I can be a help! Tried to put all my knowledge out there up for grabs! :D
Heres a question. I bought the year 2 pass today but Kovd peninsula is still locked. Do I have to progress through Yukon to unlock it?
Hmm, I wonder how and why you have Yukon unlocked then? :D So each Year pass covers 4 seasons (and it's respective maps), so if you bought Year 2 Pass, that means you got 4 seasons: 5, 6, 7 and 8, where Kovd Peninsula is a Year 1 Pass Season 1 map ;) I hope this explains it!
To have all SnowRunner maps you basically have to get each Year pass.
@@MLMariss I think I bought thr Snowrunner edition with season 1-2 need to buy 3. I screwed up and bought a season 2 pass which I didnt need. Ooops
Its funny though because the main title screen changed from the OG to the off road sports park at the ski hill .
Very good video, some good advice
You miss you can also use the scroll wheel in cockpit to zoom in and out a little. It helps with cars with smaller windows/windshield.
Since mudrunner I am using a cool trick with winch. I get a truck with flatbed plus a trailer with ramp and tow another truck with the same setup, so basically you are towing 12 standard units of cargo at a time :)
Sometimes tricky on some roads but none the less 😉
Great tip and setup! thank you for mentioning this for everyone! ;)
Great tips, thx!
Happy to help!
thanks so for your tips U R THE BEST BIG THANKS BROOOO
Happy to help ;)
I would like to add to the 2+1 crane if you use crane to add an extra load on top and you go through a gateway you lose one load.
Hmm..are you sure? Is that changed? Because I have tested it and what happens for sure - the cargo gets detached on the other of gateway, BUT it drops on the grown on the other side so all you had to do is pick it up again from ground (it is underneath the truck). So now the cargo disappears?
the “rule of thumb” refers to when children were told to go outside and get a “switch”, which is a small stick.
The switch was going to be used to hit the child for punishment...part of the punishment was if you brought back a little bitch stick you got hit harder...
so the “rule of thumb” was so you remember to bring your adult back a switch thicker than your thumb...to be hit with
now it’s just the thing you need to remember when doing something
Damn the story behind it - never knew ;x Thank you for telling me this - now I know more!
@@MLMariss lol yup. that is a fun mannerism used in the English language. And when I heard you mention you weren’t sure where that s from, I thought it would be fun to share.
Absolutely - thank you for that! :D
Great video
Thanks!
Hi, I have seen all 3 videos... what an amazing series!!!!!!!! I only have like 3 hours on this game but I had played mudrunner a lot.
There is a way to know if I need or not a crane to load before I reach the spot?? Or I always need one??
Thank you for your kind words!
About the crane - I don't recall game telling you this beforehand :D It's mostly as a (bad) surprise when you arrive there. If you want to avoid such surprises then crane (small) and flatbed would be an universal approach - ready for anything! :D And of course - when you will have crane, you will not need it for a long time. As soon as you take it off - you will need it :D Murphy's Law - can't a void it!
I feel that the gearbox has gotten worse. In Mudrunner, yes it had less functions, but also behaved much much better and you could use it without taking your eyes off the road.
Also some truck like Fleetstar F2070A can have a crane+flatbed+trailer while some truck can't use a trailer if it has crane+flatbed. Would like to see a video on what each trucks/car can equip/tow what.
Absolutely great comment - thank you for sharing! Yea, the combinations are crazy and truck dimensions come in play there I guess..
"There is no right or wrong" - I say as I drive a tank through Michigan.
😄 Exactly!
Nice! Thank`S!!!
Welcome!
Actually the towed vehicle sometimes slams the break or drives in the wrong direction, watch its rear light to see break light/reverse light to make sure its driving in correct direction. Diffrent angle of towing helps most of the time if it happens.
Hmm..interesting.. I have noticed this happening when it's not on straight road but some turning around or something like that..as truck tries to imitate your directions, but you approach it from side, then sometimes it's really working against you :D Thank you for additional tip ;)
most of the time only if your 90 degree to the towed vehicle he doesnt know where to go, but breaks happen often. That is more like while "recovering" not pure "towing".
The winches disappear. The wenches respawn at the bar in White River.
you can use long tailer and attach another truck with long trailer, in worst case you can use other truck to support . like akonvoi, thats how i dreive most time
Now that I'm thinking - you are absolutely right! Truck with or without trailer can be attached to another such truck with a trailer :D
The length can be huge and moved supplies..then only question is - what kind of roads can you travel through with such tuck train! Thank you for this comment!!
Thats what i wanted to say: Attach 2bed truck with 4 bed trailer to each other ... and you got a whooping 12 slot cargo capacity. The problem is the towed truck follows/steers to the towing truck, not the trailer it is attached to which makes navigating tight turns impossible.... need to detach the cable and drive around the turn both trucks and reattach afterwards, quite cumbersome. Terrain navigation of the towed truck is quite well though.
Tip #27 when using the crane and the stuff falls through the trailer or vehicle just hit pack cargo and it will work
If that is trailer higher from the ground - it will not, game will give you error and that's it. But if you have low to the ground trailer - then it can work ;)
How to use the crane? Coz when I put crane on truck I only get option for activate the crane, but I can't move the crane or anuthing. Is there a mission where it teaches u crane tutorials. Am on ps4 so not sure if anyone experienced it
Hmm..I'm not sure how that works on consoles as I'm playing on PC, but once you activate the crane, at least on PC all the controls switch to crane mode..does your camera switch to show you crane in the focus? There are controls mentioned in options I believe..you can look them up there. And no, there is no tutorial or teaching mission about it - it's all testing and learning from doing :D
@@MLMariss thanks for reply, I figure it out, I had to press the square button for it to work
Thanks bro👍
The driving mechanics are the hardest to get used to
Very true, but once you get used to them - the driving is soo satisfying :)
25:29 what I do is just keep the cargo right above the flatbed and switch vehicles so the cargo falls into the truck
Hmm..interesting - all my attempts thew cargo falls though the car/flatbed/everything..
27 has been fixed in recent updates. That was a bug. Good tip, though.
Good to know! Thank you!
March tip: use a new crane to invade the russian map
Daamn that's some hot tactic right now :D
No 30 have been patched i think.
Damn it! :D But thank you for letting us know!
Video would be better with more actual gameplay
True, true - tried where it's possible. Thank you for your feedback and thoughts!
You have to demonstrate what you are talking about - I've been wasting more than 10 minutes and the same amount of "tricks" watching a truck sitting on a turf
NOT GOOD
Play the game. Sounds coming out of his mouth will make more sense to you that way.
Valid point and good advice! Thank you for the feedback!
The problem is - demonstrating every single point of them would make video too long. People have really small attention span, videos above 10 minutes in general are considered not effective (only if you are already big CZcams name, which I'm not yet :D ) and gamers in general want and will play the game more likely than sit in the video..so I have to make some sacrifices there in production of videos ;)
This vid should NOT have been made - Your rep suffers
Thank you for your concern, I believe I can take this hit ;)
