I don't know why everyone's complaining about the song. It sounds like it's very influenced by hard rock, which I think is awesome. Hybridization of genres can be the best thing when it's done well, like it is here.

From what I saw, the reason was Kris had drinking problems, and managed to stop those problems. The 2 sisters didn't like the new Kris (he partied and drank less) so they decided to kick him. An asshole move imo.

Was just thinking, I doubt the guys at Krewella would see this, but I just wanted to say, I think its definitely such a shame these guys broke up. I used to be in a band 5 years ago, We were all so close like the Krew and we did so many amazing gigs, we was quite popular and had quite a few fans around our area. We ended up breaking up because some went to uni, weren't interested or wanted another band to be in because they got bored (Which is fine btw) I genuinely think that if we hadn't broken up we'd have probably been doing really well for ourselves because we had such a chemistry that I doubt could ever happen again. I wish the Krew and Rain Man would take a leaf out of Mandela's book and let bygones be bygones because I think they need eachother to keep that amazing click they had. I'm not saying they won't ever do well without eachother because both are doing amazing anyway, but that little chemistry sometimes makes all the difference and definitely has an impact on quite a lot important things to the themselves and the fans. Please get back together. If not. Keep on killin' it.

+BrightHeartsSSO They're still a band except the main producer for the band Kris "Rainman" Trindl had a major alcohol and drug problem and was either kicked out from the group or resigned, after being removed from the group he quickly filed a $5m lawsuit in which he lost. They still make music but most people would say nothing is up to par with all of their songs made as a trio before Kris was removed. This song is actually made about Kris and if you pay close attention to the lyrics you'll notice how they coincide with the saga with Kris.
+Lachlan Jetta kris didnt lose the lawsuit he didnt get 5 mil but they settled but they didnt go into details but i'm sure rainman got some money out of it.
This is actually freaking dope. New sound to them is a great start for them.
It's suppose to appeal to all the mainstream fans and the Drum&Bass fans. And for y'all DnB is a freaking subgenre of EDM. Stop saying they're going rock or that this is rock.
Go explore more freaking subgenres of EDM than the main ones. Can't accept change of artists music, then go listen to something else. No one is gonna to stick their old stuff, everyone needs to experiment and do what is best for them.

At first I was afraid that they'll crash and burn without their producer, but I'm happy that I was proven wrong by this song!!

I don't like it tho, i mean i enjoyed the dubstep stuff they made but this is going towards rock wich i btw don't like at all, the songs like can't controll myself and party monster and especially the party knife remix where the reason i actually liked a group, i seriously never had a favorite group/band before and now the group either completely stopped or went into rock, my music list is also dying out after 4 months of not editing my list, right now i only have 5 krew songs remaining, i think over 2 months i run out of them and guess what, there will never be anything as good to fill up the list again becouse to me the voices where perfect and combined with the track it is the best music ever, but this is screamy music wich to me doesn't fit with the background of the sisters and totally waste the good pure voice.
But that's my opinion wich probably doesn't matter anyway.
I think what people need to see is that music should not be dictated as good or bad based on who makes it. The fact that Rainman is not a part of Krewella anymore should make no difference as to wether you like the music or not, you should make that decission based on the music. But above all, despite how much you say that they would be better with Rainman, They need the support of us, their fans, to support them in this new step.

milk kitten Wat? Krewella before this song = dubstep. Krewella after this song = something BETWEEN d&b and rock/metal - in other words an attempt to put a bunch of things in the basket without anything standing out.
Ivan Krushkov That's a personal opinion. Music is quite subjective. This is DnB, which is a genre of EDM. Krewella has generally stuck to electro and dubstep in the past, but branching out and experimenting is good for an artist. If you stick to one genre for all your music, it becomes not only dull to the artist, but the community falls apart pretty quickly.
If this was true d&b you could call it branching out. I get it they're trying to find their own sound but this is honestly nowhere. It wants to be rock at the start, tries to be metal during the first vocals and then shifts to d&b while continuing with lyrics (and tone of said lyrics) typical to a metal vocalist. I'm not posting a perrsonal opinion, I'm commenting on the sound of this song.

I don't care what goes on behind the scenes with these guys. It's all about the music. That's why we all started liking krewella, not because they were morally good people or role models. We wanted to be entertained, and we were. I will always love their music and no matter who's right and who's wrong, I will be grateful to them for giving us such good music. Hopefully they work things out, get back together, and live happily ever after. But they probably wont, and good luck to both parties and hopefully both will continue to make awesome music.
