The day glow yellow stock run at 173g is a dumper, a little more than a Falk. Flies just like the original Grym, and strangely feels about the same (350-380 ft). Didnt expect such things given the videos of the first runs.
Would've been nice to see a full complete flight, without it flying into a tree. Still looks like it gets some low effort distance.
Bought it and it rivals my DD for max distance. Noodle arms need that higher turn and longer glide to do that.
I have a pink one, gummy, i might not know how to throw it yet, but it flips like crazy and i dont have a great arm. There was a mild wind. 5-7 mph and that may have been thr factor. I need to try again. I usually throw pretty flat but need to learn to flip discs more. My plasma Wave is pretty overstable in comparison.
Have you tried a VIP Sword? Seems similar, it's listed as a 12sp but IMO it's a 11/6/-2/2 and they bomb (once you trim the flashing).
I am loving mine, especially on forehand and I don’t throw many discs over 9 speed
It's an awesome driver
@@IceBergTVhi I’m a new disc golfer and am looking to expand my collection are there any discs I may be able to have for free? Sorry not trying to beg
i never heard what weight you are throwing. makes a difference
I wonder how much difference different colors impact the stability. I have a white one, and it flies quite stable. Straight with some fade at the end. Might get some small turn, but not anything close to what I'd say a -2 should get. It flies really close to what my Vass (poison green) flies. That said, I havent thrown the Älva enough to make a super good analysis.
Anyone knows about different colors and stability on these discs?
Would've loved to see one clean shot to understand the distance potential. Otherwise it does look perfect from most AMs.
🤣🤣 sorry
Annoyed this came out just after I was looking for new distance drivers to grow into lol. Might still pick one up.
Any comparison to the Discraft Scorch with the same flight numbers?
Scorch is a more flippy IMO...
@@IceBergTV ok thank you!
dude every throw hit a tree - how does this thing fade?
Really need to have full shots without hitting the trees as well as throw some forehands.
This spot you are throwing from Dylan is really nice but those trees near the bridge terminate way too many of your shots at the finish.
It's good practice for tunnel shots!!!!!
Mine is just as stable as a star wraith .. not making the bag
Your camera always looks foggy... Or is it really that foggy where you live?
When its extremely bright that happens because I film on my phone
Seems comparable to an MVP Wave.
More glidy IMO and maybe slightly more stable
@@IceBergTV There's quite a lot of variation with Waves in different plastics. Proton Wave is one of my favourite forehand discs because it's pretty stable.
@hexher616 my patent pending proton is suuuuper domey and flippy!!
@@IceBergTV Yeah the new ones I have are flat and beefy :D
Way more glide than a Wave
Discraft Scorch 11 6 -2 2
Scorch is more flippy for me
Does Tony know you're using his name for a disc? 😂🛹🛹🛹
