    I feel like William F Buckley went around to colleges and just got schooled by a bunch of black intellectuals during the 60's

    Completely disagree with the point on civil disobedience. It should be the hope of every protester that they are arrested, and that that arrest is noted by the general population.

      Wizmut I think it somewhat depends on the type of disobedience (maybe not?).
      but Rosa Parks and the Greensboro counter sit ins- I don't see how you argue against that.
