"Best time trialist of all time"? Yes, that's true! In my book that makes him the co-GOAT with Merckx. Recent tours and the upcoming one have had very few individual TTs. In fact, it looks like this year's will have only one. As far as I'm concerned the TT is the real test of who's the greatest rider. In my ideal world, there would be at least 7 in each TDF and they alone would be used to decide the individual winner. The other stages, with all of their little strategic and tactical games, would only be for deciding a winning team.
