My favorite comment from Melissa was her undersatanding of the importance of disipline when running equipment like the WoodMizer, Wolf Ridge or the tractors. A good healthy fear of the equipment will keep her, and those around her, safe. Teaching her to use the saw was also a great way of giving us all more detail on the ins and outs of how it works. After the Marines this is where we ended up. But my wife will watch the show with me and she asks me all the time if I miss home because I smile all the time while I'm watching. M+M, you might want to rethink the music while you saw. Nathan at OTW has said over and over, he needs to hear what the mill is doing for safety. Is the motor dogging, is the blade binding, etc. You don't want to be distracted and miss a signal that something is wrong when working with such a powerful tool. Please don't get hurt as we count on you guys for doing the things we wish we were doing.
I am amazed at just how many talents Malissa has. Ive been watching this channel for awhile now being almost house bound due to illness and I am Totaly hooked! Not only do I find Mike to be an all round nice guy who obviously has a lot of love for the property and thrives on working in the wood and is a demon when playing with wood, but this man loves that lady and would just die without her. If you cant see this, get an eye doctor!.......... Both you guys give me a dose of good medicine each time I watch a video. I did say at one point that the music sucked but it has got better except for the guy who looks down the road as far as he can see! I would be happy if he went down the road further than I can hear!!! I bid a hundred bucks for the first board that Malissa cut!! Its cold and damp here in Southampton UK but malissa makes the sun shine anyplace!! You know thats true Mike! I bet some guy or gall out there goes and out bids me on the board.........Swimming pool fund!

Melissa is going to teach Hanna & Eva how to run the mill. A 3 girl team that while you are at work they will saw all your logs & you will never get to use it again. You will come home from work looking forward to doing some sawing to find everything cut already. Next thing you know you will be stashing logs just like a squirrel does nuts so you can bring them in just so you can saw them yourself.

Good job running the woodmizer. Hope Eva is doing better. Woodmiser should put a load driver that moves forward automatically according to the load. You set the load. Also an automatic adjustable stop at the end. Set it and forget it!

SOUTHERN INDIANA HERE: Great job Melissa….Remember, nobody is “born” with the knowledge to run a sawmill It takes practice and yes…mistakes along the way. (“The learning curve”). Hope Eva is doing ok and I hope Hunter is happy and doing well. ALWAYS good to see Piper and Ruger playing in the background. After all, they’re family too.
