I love baseball and I love the fans but nothing will ever piss me off more than when fans boo the pitcher for hitting the batter. It's not like they meant to hit them and most of the time, they check on the batter or look incredibly guilty. I've never understood why they boo because of an accident. They feel bad enough as it is
Remembering when Ted Williams left his prime to be a fighter pilot in both WW2 and Korea. Nolan Ryan was a Cowboy, that man would wrestle cattle and shit. Baseball players back then were no push overs.
Wish you can slow it down…. we want to see the staff and players’ reaction, we want to see what they do and not just have one video after another every 10 seconds. :( Thanks for looking into this for your future videos. Like what happened to Aoki and his i jury….we don’t know after 5 seconds.
The amount of self injuries in professional sports feels unreal. You'd think as they go professional they would have learned how to prevent such injuries.
It’s called playing hard. Their philosophy is “make the play” and not “don’t risk it” even if said play does end up injuring them. They still do everything in their power to make that play.
@@BigBucks243 That being said, being able to maintain whilst making the play is important. Besides, it's just a little food for thought. Eat healthy. Workout regularly. Be mindful of how you move. Basic exercises go a long way. It just seems crazy how a lot of these injuries are preventable or could have less damage.
Ended up in crutches cause a foul ball on my ankle, which of course got infected so I ended up in the hospital for surgery. That one always gets me when I see it
1. I may not have been a sports player but I have sprained my ankle dancing around my room. Most of these injures I feel in my soul. 2. I don’t care if you are the strongest man alive, I will not blame you if you tear up or straight out cry when a ball hits you anywhere at 90+ mph.
I remember Dave Dravecky breaking his arm pitching and Bob Gibson getting his leg broken by a line drive and pitching to 2 more batters before leaving the game.
1:10.... Poor Arcia. I screen recorded it and slowed it down. Not only did he get hurt but he beat that tag by a good 6-8 inches, but got called out. I wonder if he got a flat tire on the way home that night. 😂 Just seems like nothing could go right for him that night.
It would have been nice if you added some text to specify the injuries. Some of them are obvious but a lot of them could have done with some clarification
Let’s see. You need to be the Incredible Hulk To Make It Pass Home (At Bat), Batman To Make It To First Base, Spider-Man To Make It To Second Base, The Flash To Make It To Third Base, And Superman To Make It To Home Again(Score A Run). Seems simple enough.❤
The one that still haunts me to this day is Kyle Farmer of the Twins getting hit in the face with a pitch. The ball basically caved his mouth in, and pinned his tongue down with his bottom teeth. He got reconstructive surgery and has been killing it at bat, but every time he goes up I think about it. Also during the Twins v. Yankee game in 2017 when the three year old got hit in the face by a 105 mile an hour ball. You never see the injury, but watching every player either praying or crying was absolutely heartbreaking.
Each and every time a batter removes the hand after hitting a ball and the bat swings back and hits the catcher they should be fined, and that money should go to the catcher who gets hit. It is ridiculous and unnecessary.
I didn’t really get hurt but I was subbing for my school team and a kid hit it to the outfield and went two and my outfielder had a bad throw to me and I tried to get it and he slide into my legs and my knees and ankles s crossed and I fell and it looked like my body snapped in half I was just limping for 3 minutes
0:17 wow these announcers are blind. No it did not just hit him in the pitching hand or the glove. How did they both miss that the ball hit him in the face?? 😂😂😂
You really think they don’t call it? You’re telling professional baseball players to do something little league teams teach? You get why it’s rare right? Facebook is calling you

@traewinterrowd2373 if it's at all even possible for them to play, they should be playing. If you can't handle pain, you do not deserve to be in any professional sports league
The way the injuries vary from "minor cuts" to "career ending" to "life threatening"....

some injuries just happen tho. nothing you can do. stretching can only help so much

2:35 thats first baseman got some hops
tf so many of these do not belong in a vid called creepy injuries
Fr one of the clips is someone getting dirt in their eye

Whoever came up with the saying “there’s no crying in baseball” has never been hit with a 99 mph fastball
The worst feeling in the world is hitting a ball off your own foot and feeling the bones break. Jesus.

cuz he came off the base

sad to see that no Angel Hernandez injuries are on here

As a braves fan seeing an injury of Orlando Arica on the brewers is crazy
Man the ankel injury is the worst.
2:41 was he talking about AB 😂
Thank goodness none of these guys had to put a helmet on to make a living.
1:04 I felt that in MY ankle
Maybe pitchers shouldn’t be throwing balls at the batters heads as much?

Another bad one was White Sox pitcher Wilbur Wood getting his kneecap shattered by a Ron Leflore line drive.

cant wait for Splatoon on the Wii U
1:14 I lasted 😂 shits grossing me out
Wish the clips were longer so we could get more of the conclusion of the injuries.
The ankle injuries are absolutely terrible..
Those come backers had to hurt. I remember taking one to the face back in high school.
Omg. 😱
Is painfully
The 3rd one made me cringe really hard 😬 I feel bad for that player 🥲
to be fair, if you got the poke, anything is possible.
When I was playing basketball I broke my vain😢
At 6:00 that must of huarache a lot

Edit these way too short.
I play 9 - 10 Little League if we're going against our enemy team that my cousin's play on😮😂
If you're several feet past the bag with your cleats in the air when you slide into the 2nd basemen, you need to be ejected from several games.
Should also be fined and the fine going to the injured party and not to MLB so that they can pay people who can issue more fines.
W vid
You're flying through these clips way too fast.
The other day I was out playing wiffle ball with my son and he hit a liner right into my gut. Gave me a pretty nasty red mark. I'm okay now though.

6:00 oh my god he was knocked out
Does anyone know what happened to the pitcher at 9:02 ?
The ball hit him in the head

the face and headshots are the only ones that really make me cringe..
So many ankle rolls off first base. Why don't they use shorter bases or dig them further into the ground?
David Dahl rupturing his spleen should be on here, impretty sure theres footage, its just the crappy minor league footage
Mets!
Wtf is a creepy injury...

2 hours ago why didn’t I get a notification
Thanks for watching bro 😎
1. Hit with bag
2. Hit in the face
3. That looked painful
Sorry, guys I have to continue later. Bye!

Hi brother thanks watching
It pleases me to see injuries in this so called “sport”
It pleases you to see people in pain?
This video sucks and so misleading
Why creepy? How can an injury be creepy?
Degrom and Noah’s career injury problems. I don’t feel as bad for them, after watching them hit guys at 94 and 97 mph in the face..
Degrom hit one player in the face, Haniger, which was completely unintentional. I don't think Syndergaard has hit anyone in the face.

If they can be paid millions then they should be able to play through injuries.

Money doesn't make them transform into robots. They are humans. Can you walk on a broken leg? Well, neither can they
