1981 commercial break for the original Star Trek's second season episode, "The Trouble with Tribbles." According to @cdelano81, this was 5pm PT on Thursday, November 12, 1981. Notice in the second season, DeForest Kelley was now part of the opening theme. Brought to you by San Francisco station KTVU, Channel 2 (appropriate location for Trek!).

This video was originally taped at 5pm PT on Thursday, November 12, 1981. Clint Eastwood's "Hang 'em High" aired at 7:30pm that night. On a sidenote, I was born just 11 days prior. I was recovering from a partially collapsed lung at the time of this recording and was not released from the hospital until about a week later. Then, in mid-December, at 6 weeks old, my family and I left Ellsworth, Maine to live in the San Jose area. We still live there today, so I practically grew up watching KTVU, KOFY-20 and other networks. THANKS SO MUCH for this rare find.
