    I'm starting in 2 years after an accerss course. My boys will be 5 and 9 and in full time school, and old enough to follow rules and understand mummy is training to help poorly people (at last!). I'll be 34, single, and I am MUCH more level headed, strong minded, and in the right place to study and learn now. Even if it takes me until 37 to qualify thats 20 years + of an incredible career.

      Excuse the late reply Nikki, I'm sure your boys are very proud of you. Absolutely, you can do anything you put your mind to and I hope you have a fantastic career in nursing.

      wow! that's the good thing about here in the US there's no such thing as age discrimination when it comes to getting a job as long as you are healthy and capable to do the job. unlike in my country of origin there's a certain age limit and and its harder to get hired in a company without having a college degree. some are also particular with your physical appearance when applying a job such as in shopping malls. so yeah that's one thing i love about US

    Which subject is the best for a middle-aged man study in in university in order to change one's career?

    • @oxfordbrookes
      @oxfordbrookes  Před 4 lety

      I guess that depends on what type of career interests you. We offer a whole range of courses from nursing right through to architecture and filmmaking. At Brookes we believe you can do anything you set your mind to. Please feel free to look at our website for further details on the courses we offer. As you have commented on a nursing video I can tell you that we have many fantastic male nurses some of which have changed career and find their role as a nurse extremely rewarding. I hope this helps.
