As an addendum- really nice that you remember that yours is a family friendly show even in the face of adversity. I was in the navy for 22years and still never swear in front of a lady or children. Don’t get me wrong I can out swear a navvy with a belly full of booze BUT there is a time and place for everything, ask my daughter- when she used the f word in front of me many many years ago I asked her not to - her reply was all my friends use it - my reply was I am not your friend - I am your father. It took her 30 odd years and 3 children but she finally got it.😮🇬🇧

I was a boatswainsmate in the Navy. My language got so bad I swore on the phone while calling my mom. I made a concerted effort to clean my language up after that. Swearing to your mother isn't cool...

Made me smile Mike. My son was mixing up a batch of mortar for an outside wall. He didn’t have a stand for the mixer and built up a small block pad instead, unfortunately as the mortar mix began to stir it unbalanced the mixer which took off around his garden shedding the mortar through his patio doors and into the house spattering the walls and floor! Fortunately for him and his father who was helping, it cleaned up very quickly. 😊

555 blew another hose, harbor freight cement mixer went for a swim and still works, and manual labor for the bags of Sacrete just made it a day of setbacks to overcome. Have the same mixer (as I'm sure many do) Bought it in Arizona, assembled it at my sister's house near Tuscan, strapped it down to a trailer and drove it two and a half hours to my raw land near Tombstone. When I arrived, found that the motor and wiring ripped through that robust motor housing, and was laying on the deck of the trailer. Never got to use it on my property there (just started hand mixing)or reassembled until I got back to Minnesota a few months ago. Still works... We all have those types of days were nothing seems to go right. Pushing through those days, shows the character of a person.... even if some of us have to edit a video to make it "CZcams appropriate" 😉 Well done. Great progress on this project. You mentioned it being a salt pool. I have a salt pool. Assuming that's still your plan you should rethink draining the slab into the pool. I think I'd figure out a way to divert the water around the edge of the pool, or down under the liner and out. Either that or filter it. Otherwise it's going to pick up leaves, dirt, etc and those will all be washed into the pool/pond. You are going to spend a lot of time cleaning it out. That's why inground pools all have a a raised coping around them so that ground water doesn't wash into the pool.
