Hey Jeff solid review. I just go a bonfire and noticed when I flip it to dump the ash, something appears to move a bit inside. Almost like the ash pan is shifting just a tiny bit. You ever notice that?
No I actually haven’t. That’s weird. Mine is rigidly in place. I’d contact Solo Stove if you’re concerned. I understand they have good customer service.

It’s actually very efficient as a stove. You’re wanting it to be less efficient and burn slower

We will be burning super hard mesquite. Works great for the wood fired hot tub.
Careful with allowing rain to hit your stove while its lit. It's cause thermal shock to break the welds, ask me how I know lol.

Great review. Maybe a dumb question but is there a way to shut down the fire before the all of the wood burns?
Not a dumb question. But no, there is no way to shut it down or slow the burn other than spread the fire around and quit adding wood. Hope that helps.
