Australian architecture and homes are so beautiful. So worth watching this channel and the Local Project channel for inspiration. My home is British mid century detached that I'm looking to add another floor too at the rear, and also an above-ground pool (because of cost). This home's yard has already give me so many inspiring ideas. Many thanks.
Thanks for the tour. Looks like a great house. I was thinking about seeing visiting myself to have a look around the garden and where the virtual tours don't show.
The only negatives in my opinion are:
The oven and cupboard finishes look like a finger magnet....
The stove tile backsplash is too short...I'm just imagining cooking pasta or something and having sauce splatter all over that wall.
No door to the butlers pantry.
No door to the master ensuite.
Master bedhead looks like office carpet.
There's no ledge in the powder room for soap etc.
No door to the first sitting area. I would have loved to have seen a pocket door....(honestly I just love the versatility of a good, solid, smoothly-sliding pocket door).
Since there's no shower in the powder room, I would have put a sliding door to the ensuite of the upstairs bedroom down the hall. That way, if you had more guests than bedrooms, they could still access the shower without having to go through a bedroom.
This channel keeps me grounded in the design world! Lately, I've struggled to keep balance going in my life and watching your tours let's me "feel" again!! Thank you!!
Am I the only one who things this open en suite design fad needs to go? There's quite literally zero door or barrier between the bedroom and the toilet...

I really like this style of architecture of homes. There aren't many of these types homes being built in my area, they were more popular years ago. I only have been in one of these types of houses one time when I had a computer client have me work on their equipment. It really brightens the mood. I have also been in some very large traditional style homes with the vaulted ceilings, those types I do not like (it leaves me with a cold feeling, literally and figuratively). Not that I would ever be able to afford a place like this, because I think if people who do have the money would consider checking them out before buying a larger place they might consider them more. You don't millions of dollars to get a ranch style home with asymmetric design, and larger wall windows (these are the key elements in this design). And if you don't like the look of concrete you can add wood veneer or other stone (in various designs) over it and indoor / outdoor plants, etc.

Absolutely loved this!! I must admit I’ve been checking your channel since I saw this new prize home and your tour did not disappoint. I wasn’t convinced on the blue but you’d sold me once we got to the downstairs bathroom.

Would love to support this lottery after an incidental discovery of an extremely rare tumour in rural VIC and having to have two surgery's at RMH in Feb & March this year for its removal receiving excellent treatment at RMH.
However, being on a disability pension $100 a ticket is just not what I can afford. I wish you all the very best of success and fingers crossed for a very lucky winner. 🙏

Whenever i was over on holiday in Aus and each organisation had sale tickets for things like this I'd always buy a couple,just because i wanted to, l know id never be able to claim the prize if i won not being Australian but hey i love this Idea for funding hospitals,surf lifesaving etc,well done Cheers from NZ Love you all

That upholstery on the bench seating in the dining is just AWFUL. But love the rest of the downstairs. Lovely. Not sure re the kitchen lay out…..not a fan of the basin in the powder room. Nowhere to rest anything! Great tour Lucy!

Interesante casa. Dos cosas que no me gustan personalmente: el cuadro de la entrada, al ser lo primero que ves tiene un protagonismo que yo usaría con una pieza diferente y con otros colores. En la habitación principal es hermosa la ventana y el banco debajo de ella para leer pero no he visto ningún sistema para darle privacidad cuando se requiera....

That's very nice but there is very little privacy. For being so close to the neighbors homes the curtains are all sheer, so they can look right in day or night. And the en suite bathrooms don't have doors, not even for the toilets.
What’s wrong with doors in bathroom. Doesn’t look like they have any.
Absolutely stunning but I'd want doors to the ensuit. I can't think of anything worse than lying in bed and smelling hubby doing a number 2🙄
