How I Format the Type of Article That Earns $100/Mo

- I'm not saying that this type of article is guaranteed to eventually make me $100/mo, or even that it's likely to. Almost every article on my sites that's earning $100/mo with ad revenue, is this type of article.
I'm talking about informational list posts. The RPM you can get widely varies, but page RPMs can be high. But you have to do some strategic keyword research. It takes some time and testing to find clusters of high RPM, low competition keywords that have decent search volume. But there are millions out there.
It's also easy to train a writer how to write listicles as well. Once you have a writer that's well-versed in writing this type of article, you can just feed them topics and not have to outline every post for them.

Your mileage may vary. The RPMs showed in this video are also inflated some due to it holidays.

Great idea! I was struggling for new articles to write and this format has just opened up a world of possibilities for me.
Glad to hear it!
Nice video Jesse! Love these
Nice video. This is a similar way of how I structure my listicles as well. It makes things easy to follow a similar template/formula!
Definitely agree!
I need to do more of these!
You should ;)
Thank You Sharing this information i like to know more best wishes to You and family greetings from germany
Thanks for watching!
Awesome, thanks for sharing! I haven't been as big on listicles as I should have but noticing majority of traffic on a site I just acquired is from "kinds of" or "types of" posts ... basically listicles. Are you driving traffic from pinterest to these or just relying on search traffic?
Almost all search traffic, some Pinterest though.
Hey Jesse! What about the alt text and title for the images? Do you use the main kw for all the images?
I don’t even add alt text to images anymore, I see no significant effect on SEO at all. Is it good practice to add proper alt text? Yes. It’s something I should probably take the time to do but don’t. Though I think the alt text for an image should be a descriptive summary of that image, not just the primary keyword over and over.
Hi
1- how do you set your home page?
do you use gutenberg and gutenberg block libraries like atomic blocks?
2- what is your home page style? is it blog roll layout or post grid layout?
3-what's your theme?
thanks in advance.
For new sites I just always set the home page as the default blogroll. Once the site is more established and getting some decent traffic I may build a custom home page using Elementor or GeneratePress, or both. In this case it may be a bit more complex with a grid layout.
@@NicheInformer thank you
do you recommend use post grid plugins ?
@@jjavid8663 I use Elementor for grid layouts, for anything simple I will also use Shortcodes Ultimate for columns and rows.
To answer the OP I use the classic editor on most of my sites, I really don't like Gutenburg. I am using it on my newest site and trying to get used to it.
I use Generatepress Premium for my theme on all of my sites.
Here are some other tools I use.

How long are those listicles that are making you that much revenue?
Some of my highest earning ones are under 1k words, it just depends on the competition and the topic for the length.
Is this type of post better with Amazon Affiliate or is it better with ezoic ads?
These are low competition, informational topics targeted at display ad revenue only. Amazon product lists wouldn't work as well because the keywords are generally higher competition with a lot less search volume. However, on some of my higher traffic listicles I add an affiliate banner for a related product that brings in additional revenue.
