Yes, but hospitals know how to properly administer it for extreme pain. I dislocated my shoulder twice about 5 years ago and the Emergency room gave me a Fetanyal shot to reduce the pain before putting me out and my shoulder back into it's socket.
Sure oxycodone was used in hospitals. How well did that go!
@@susanh3313: Pain killers and opiate based medication needs to be administered with caution, and only given to ppl who are in extreme pain. I'm on Suboxone for chronic lower back pain due to a fracture in one of my lower vertebraes, and even though it takes the pain away I think it's the worse drug in the world to get off from and takes about 60-70 days of complete hell to rid ones system of, and the withdrawal symptoms are almost identical to having COVID, which I've had twice now even with the vaccine shot, and I've heard Methedone is another horrific drug to come off from.
