between sweet and tart is how the mac sauce balances. there's so many different recipes and the variations almost always call for the trifecta...this specific trifecta. the white pepper might be the kicker and tomato paste instead of ketchup works because most relish is sweet.

The way he assembles it so carefully and gently is really cool. It looks identical if not better than a regular Big Mac. Honestly most of the time I hate vegan food, it tastes so artificial, but I think this would be a different experience

Big Mac sauce is just Thousand Island but sub the ketchup for French sauce. That’s the only difference, which is why I add ketchup to Big Macs

Big mac is my favorite burger. I tried making big mac sliders a few days ago and I overcooked the meat. Turned out terrible. Don't know if I will try making them again. But I will definitely be making regular big macs
Again, Jim Delligatti would have used whatever they had at his Uniontown, PA Mcdonald's when he created the sauce for the Big Mac. Ketchup, mayo, pickles, onions, sugar, salt and pepper, which is pretty much the recipe for Thousand Island Dressing.
