For your watercolor hon, try using clear gesso to prep the page -- Once dry then paint all over...and I love rainbows too! Beautiful work and I am so encouraged to see a young college age young woman deep into her faith. You were a true blessing to me today!

As soon as i finished watching this video i said to my mum "you know for my birthday can I have a journalling Bible since I lost my other one" she said yes i am so excited. I love that you don't care if you make a mistake.

Im a super new Christian and am trying to find ways to keep me on track with catching up to my Christian friends. Ive found a bunch of videos that I like, this one and several others on journaling and am going to mix and match to make my bible journal personal. Thanks!
Kelsey, remember that you don't have to keep up with your Christian friends.... :) Learn at your pace, and aspire to be like Jesus, not like your friends!! He will work with you where you are now. You don't have to keep up or catch up, okay?!

Have just found your channel and there is something about you that inspires me! So I subscribed! I don't do much bible journaling, but what I do find is that because I struggle with anxiety and actually struggle being in church, I take some basic supplies and I will doodle and colour the verse(s) they are talking about that day. It REALLY!! helps me' to forget about the anxiety and focus on what is being said x x

I have my grandmas New king James version bible. i am 14 and I guess that I have been off the road of God for a long time but now I just moved to a small town and everyone goes to church, but like I don't go to church but I go to a church youth group and I am just so thankful that I fund the youth group because I know now how lost I really was, I was sining all the time and I didn't care about God or Jesus Christ or any of that stuff but my youth pastor is helping me . I feel really blessed and I just thank God everyday for everything.

Your faith is so inspiring, I think it would be a cool video idea about your favorite bible verses and talk about them and why they are your favorite and whatnot, best wishes!
try using clear gesso as a base coat before water coloring penciling and you will get WAY better results. I art journal everyday and wish you much joy in your journey!

I've been wanting to do some bible journaling, but my little bible is already so full of notes, comments and highlights that I chose not to use it. However, I recently got some scrap booking materials so I decided to do my journaling in there. I haven't really started yet. I only got the name or whatever down.

That makes total sense, journal bible. I keep seeing the bible journaling videos and wondered why ppl were ruining the bible because u can't read it anymore once u decorate the pages. I would only use a journaling bible.

Just an idea--in the back of the bible there are a couple of blank pages. I created an Index on mine by dividing each page in half (2 columns). I put the date the verse/reference and the page number. The tabs sticking got messed up and came off over time and that aggravated me. So glad you're spreading your happiness around!

LOL, well, now i feel boring...I'd been using this same style (with a leaf-embossed flexible cover) but I'd been using the wider margins to make notes from sermons! Now I have a whole new purpose for it! Thank you very much! (I had no idea the pages would be safe for media beyond normal pens either) Bless you!!!

I just wanted to start bible journaling :) I'm good at painting.. but I'm so afraid of using my own styles to do the entries.. I don't want to mess it up.. What do you guys think? Is ist okay if I copy some of other peoples entries before I am brave enough to be creative by myself?
I just got a creative bible and ready to start it looks so fun but I have the same problem I don't want to mess up with any of my creations.I think I am going to copy some and get what it feels like and get some experience to build up my confidence, then do my own entries!
